RIPPED OFF!!! My husband bought his hearing aids on 2/6/19 and we were told we were buying top of the line at a price of 6,990.00.From the start he never really heard well and the hearing aids kept popping out. We had to pay another 150.00 for special inserts. I spoke to a representative there about my concerns and she told me my husband has dementia and that is why he can't hear. He went to a doctor and he does not have dementia. My husband went to an audiologist yesterday 1/19/23, to see if they could help him as he wasn't hearing well. The audiologist did not even believe us when we told her what we paid for them. She asks us three times and kept asking if we were serious? She said for that pair with her we would pay 3,000 to 3500.00 right now and also she told us that they were actually equal to a third tier from the bottom as far as quality. The audiologist was able to test him with his hearing aids on and adjust the frequencies based on his hearing tests. It definitely helped. However, hearing aids only last 4-5 years,so we will have to get new ones down the road but we won't be going to the BS store. Very disappointed in our purchase and that we were taken to the cleaners. We are seniors on a very low income. I guess commission is important to the business.

We're very sorry to hear about your negative experience with one of our past employees. In looking at your records, between February 6, 2019 when you first purchased the hearing aids and the last time we had seen you on December 21, 2021 (over a year ago), we had seen and taken care of any issues ***** may have been having during those 21 visits, at no charge. During those visits there were times the patient was having issues with insertion of the hearing aids, ears were occluded and needed to be flushed out and further, the filter was inserted into the wrong area of the hearing aid, causing a malfunction. The purchase you made was for earmolds, in order to give ***** the most clarity and sound given his hearing loss. Since you have moved out of the area, it's unfortunate we are unable to help ***** any further to keep the hearing aids working at their full potential and give them more years than just the standard time frame. Those were the top of the line for ******* hearing aids, at the time they were purchased. Again, we're very sorry for any misunderstanding during your visits.

Thank you for your response. I just have a few comments regarding your feedback:First off, during ****** visits, I tried to come along to at least half of them. I even wrote an extensive email to ***** stating that I did not feel the hearing aides were working properly. I continued to tell her that something isnt right. At one point she took me to the side and said she thought ***** was getting Alzheimers and that is why he isnt hearing or comprehending well. ***** went to his family doctor to see if his doctor felt he had Alzheimers and his doctor based on questions, conversations and the things ***** does on a daily basis and the doctor said no. I really felt I tried numerous times to find out what was wrong with these hearing aids and until I went to an audiologist in ******* who tested ****** hearing, found out where his weak points were in certain pitches and then adjusted them for him he can now hear. I dont understand why your company wasnt able to do that? They still are not perfect and certainly not worth the $6,990.00 we paid, but at least he can hear a bit better. As far as having trouble with insertion of the hearing aids, you are right and again it took me to say, they dont seem to fit his ears right and keep falling out. Is there anything we can do? That is when ***** suggested the ear molds which we paid extra for. Why did it keep taking me (his wife) to keep hunting for answers to questions that should have been resolved immediately by you the professional. As far as you saying those were the top of the line for ******** at the time. Why did they cost almost $7,000 then and now would only cost $3,000 if I bought them from the Audiologist four years later? All I can say is your company took advantage of two elderly people who are living on a very fixed income. We have moved to ******* by our son and will get further care here, thankfully by health professionals who are not working on commission and will give us an honest price on our next pair of hearing aids. We had to sell our home and move to a condo to make ends meet, we cant afford to be taken advantage of again.
