    I placed an order for an auto part on **** specifically a radio touch screen and it arrived broken however when I sent it back they claimed that I switched the radio out and did not refund me the full amount they are very dishonest to deal with and to be accused of stealing something is on called for

    The customer ordered one of our parts (a radio touchscreen)through ************ Rocki Top parts are all ****ed with a stock number,usually in multiple places to help ensure that if we receive a return, we are receiving back the same part we sent out to a customer. We sent an unbroken radio touchscreen, ****ed with our stock number in three different places, to the customer (Please see attachment radio touchscreen original. This is an original photo from our **** listing.). Unfortunately, the customer returned a broken screen that was not ****ed with our stock number (please see attachment radio touchscreen return). You can clearly see that the screen in attachment radio touchscreen return is a different screen than in the original photo of the screen we shipped out. That means after we shipped it out, someone took out the good,unbroken touchscreen we sent and replaced it with the broken one before returning it. Because the part was tampered with after we shipped it out and before it was returned to **, we did not issue a full refund.


    Additionally, after the tampered, broken part was returned,we did connect with the customer by phone and explained how we **** the parts with our stock number, so we know if someone has tampered with them or returned a different part than we sent them. We explained that because the part was tampered with, we did not issue a full refund. During that call, the customer became belligerent,swore at our salesperson, and threatened to physically assault him.


    Because the customer threatened physical assault, we immediately reported that threat to ****. After we reported it to ****, the customer called back again and yelled and swore at our salesperson some more. After that, we did not continue taking the customers calls.

    They might put stock numbers on their parts but I was not sent the right item I have filed a lawsuit and contacted other resources

    Unfortunately, the information provided by the customer is not correct. First they said we sent them a broken part, which we refuted in our first response. Now they have changed their story and said we sent an incorrect part. As stated before, we **** all our parts with a stock number. In the first attachment ("radio touchscreen original"), you can see the stock number written in three places on the part that was sent (on the frame pieces and on the back of the screen). This is one of the photos we used for our listing on ************ which is where the customer ordered the part from. In the second attachment ("radio touchscreen return"), you can see the part after it was returned, and the stock number is only written in two places because the part was tampered with. After we shipped the part, the original screen (with our stock number) was removed from the frame and replaced with a broken screen (without the stock number). Again, because of this we are not able to offer a full refund. Per ****** policies, we operated in good faith by issuing a partial refund to the customer, even though they returned a part that had been tampered with to replace the good screen we had sent with a broken one. 


    It also remains a concern that when we communicated with the customer about the reason for not issuing a full refund, they then verbally assaulted our salesperson as well as threatening physical assault. We do try to work with customers on returns, but when the part has been tampered with after being shipped out and before being returned, we cannot provide a full refund. We have to prioritize our company's and our employee's safety and well-being.

    Nothing was removed from the part I have already contacted the proper authorities to assist me in getting a refund regarding this and I have spoken to other people that this has happened to so this is not the first time that this happened to anyone

    At this point, I don't think there is anything else to say. Unfortunately, the part was tampered with between the time it was shipped to the customer and when it was sent back, which means we are not able to offer a full refund since the original part was not sent back. The following verbal assault and threat of physical assault by the customer was not something we could tolerate, resulting in our decision to cease communication with the customer. We've explained this multiple times, and it doesn't seem fruitful to continue. Thank you.

    You keep saying the part was tampered with just so u have it on record u sent a bad part u have poor business practices and that's it
