      We spent 2k on a fridge in August 2021. 9 months later the fridge stops working and we lose over $300 in food. No one at Menards could help me with the warranty. Finally get in touch with the warranty for the manufacture and they wont help me either. Do not trust appliances from here. Definitely not worth shopping here anymore.

      Ordered online. Paid 2 day shipping. Accounted for weekend. Ordered on a Wednesday morning. Items late and not delivered till Monday AM. Set up rental equipment and people to help with a project over a weekend. Had to waste time and money driving and replacing late items to get the job done. We decided to keep items as a backup in case we could use later. Also didn't want to hassle with a return. Just read these reviews. Asked for a refund for the 2 day shipping. Response back saying they will refund the difference in ground to 2 day shipping. After such an inconvenience and the cost of excess items, this is all me as a customer is worth. I will take my business elsewhere. Support local even if it cost more because at least you will have your stuff.

      On 3/31/22, I purchased a Sump Pump from Menards during their 11% rebate sale. While checking out, the register tape printer mangled the rebate portion of my receipt. The cashier told me to go to the Service desk and they would print me a new receipt with a legible rebate section. I went to the Service desk, and they told me to send in the rebate form with the top part of the receipt only, and I would get the rebate that way. I sent it as instructed, however, the rebate was refused. Then went to the Menards store for assistance. The Manager was veryrude and walked away. Talked to the General Manager who said the Service desk should have re-rang the purchase to print a new rebate form on day of purchase. Even though he admitted they did not follow the correct procedure, he refused to assist as well. Being senior citizens, this is very disturbing and we are out almost $15.00.

      I wish I had checked here first, what a list of horror stories. I got most of my issue settled because it was online so it was documented at every step.Just never give them an email address unless it's a virtual 'trash can', I can't get the spam to stop. Their 'unsubscribe' doesn't work at all and their customer service is worthless. They just tell you to go online and give them your email address so you can set your preferences.As if they don't already have it because the spam just keeps rolling in.It's a trick so they can use it to say you gave consent to accept sales offers from them. File an FCC complaint instead.This site doesn't allow a no-star rating or I'd never have given even one.

      This company has a deceptive price matching practice. I went to get a price match on a Char-Broil grill model xxxxxx421 that Target had listed for $215 on sale. Menards listed a Char-Broil grill model xxxxxx421-DI with 11% rebate for $311. From looking at both grills in both stores they were the same grill. The manager at Menards in Elk River, MN would not price match Target and used the excuse that the "DI" at the end of their model# meant it had better stainless steel. Well I have a pretty good BS sniffer, so I contacted Char-Broil to get their take on this and what "-DI" at the end of the model# meant. Here is Char-Broil's response: " Thank you for being part of the Char-Broil® family, From the information I have collected there is no difference the DI just means this product is exclusive offer to the store only." So evidently Menards is using this as an excuse to not honor their price match guarantee. I am thinking I will be shopping at Lowes or Home Depot from now on. If I could give this business a negative star for lying to me I would.

      I left a cart with a few things in it that I decided I didnt want after googling the product, apparently these were target items and I stuck out like a sore thumb by almost buying them. Along with this I bought over $4,000 worth of building materials and got stopped by a security guard and some employee that treated me so bad saying I was stealing by leaving my cart in the isle and setting down stuff I didnt want or need anymore before checking out at that. They banned me from all menards on their assumptions that made 0 sense. He said it was called reckless shopping and it was illegal to leave items and not put them back. Made me return all my stuff bought along with items they were bought online and was getting shipped purchased weeks before. Told me even if I went online and bought them again I would go to jail by getting them delivered to my house, called me a ***** ** **** and a bunch of other names.

      I purchased a refrigerator while the 11% rebate was going on. I sent in the long form official receipt that states this is the only receipt you will receive. I tried to get the rebate receipt on line but was unable to get the rebate attachment on line. I sent in my rebate submission form with the Only original official receipt I would receive to the address on the rebate form. 10 weeks later no rebate. I then went to the Menards store where I purchased the fridge. They taught me about the Kiosk machine they have and I was able to print out a receipt for the fridge. The receipt does not give the rebate number of which you need to submit your rebate. UFDA. Im frustrated and need help. This is close to a $200.00 rebate. The only reason I purchased the fridge at Menards was because of the 11% rebate.

      DONT BUY ANYTHING WITH A MOTOR FROM MENARDS. BOUGHT BRAND NEW LAWNMOWER IT WILL NOT START.TRY TO RETURN IT THEY SAID I CANT HAVE TO TAKE TO SHOP FOR WARRANTY WORK.MOWER HAS BEEN IN SHOP FOR A MONTH HAD TO BUY ANOTHER MOWER STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER FROM MENARDS.THEY WONT GIVE ME A REFUND.BUYER BEWARE
