    I was renting a storage unit from this company nd i was behind on rent! They cleaned my storage out are sre refusing to stuck to the contract! It says i have 30 days to contact them about my property, which i did, but they refuse to arrange time for me to get my property! I contacted them the day they cleaned it out nf have so 4 times since! Please help me recover my brlongings, my whole life was in my unit!

    ******************** rented a storage unit from ** in January of 2023.  After the initial rental fee, no payment was made.  This unit was cleaned out a long time ago and everything was done according to the contract.  ******************** and her companion have come into our office several times lately and harassed our staff.  On the latest occasion ******************** was seen on camera stealing checks and mail from our office.  This matter has been turned over to the police and both she and her companion have been trespassed from our office and the ministorage facility.  We are pressing charges.  We are more than willing to share any police reports or records that you request.

    I am rejecting this response because: you are not being truthful! I have messages (which i will attach) showing when the unit was cleaned out! If i am unable to get my property back i will file a summons and complaint for breach of contract! I, myself have filed a police report in regards to my missing property!

    On 1/9/23, I contacted Basin Property Management (BPM) in which I rent from, to inform them of a structural house issue, resulting in mice getting into the house via a defective crawl space cover. I repeatedly sent emails and videos of issues the mice were causing. Safety concerns in the **** system, potential fire hazards and health concerns. BPM seemed more concerned with the cost of an exterminator coming out than resolving the issue. Finally on 1/26/23, I emailed videos of the holes in the air vents, various nests in the vents in different rooms and several holes with mice urine and droppings in the vent installation. My sons and I stayed in hotel for 3 nights pending having someone come out and clean/sanitize the vents due to health concerns. BPM didn't want to me to contact any duct cleaning companies, as they wanted to use someone per the landlor's request. BPM sent out someone to build a new crawl space cover, however the cover does not fit snug against the house and mice can still get in. BPM informed me an exterminator would be out that week and no one has shown up as of 2/6/23. Mice are back in the vents. I paid half the rent for February due to having to stay at a hotel. I have had to constantly follow up with BPM to get answers and their way of handling thr issue is to lay down traps and call it good. At this point we have trapped over 30 mice of varuous sizes, this is ridiculous. I took my children to the urgent care to be screened for the hantavirus and was told you don't know you have it until your in the ** because you can't breathe. Which hasn't happen at this point, thank God. However, BPM has had ample time to resolve the issues and they are dragging their feet.

    The tenant has lived in this unit for two years.  When she moved in there was not an issue with mice.  An infestation that occurs that long after a tenant has moved in is caused by the tenant.  Basin Property Management has paid to have the **** ducts cleaned and sanitized and are paying for an exterminator, neither of which are required of us.  Mice will not infest a home that does not have a food source.

    I am rejecting this response because: BPM dragged their feet repairing the broken crawl space cover. They replaced it 1 1/2 after the exterminator I arranged to come out found how the mice were getting in. BPM also didn't replace with cover with a cover that fits well and can still allow mice to enter. Since 1/27/23, I have sent follow up messages to see when the permanent cover would be installed and have yet to get a response. BPM appears to be fixing the issue at the lowest cost possible or at no cost at all. When BPM came to inspect my house to see where the food source was, the two managers said on camera "I wonder how dirty her house is," right before entering. I received an email later letting me know they were unable to find the food source, because my house was in fact clean. I didn't bring the mice in. The crawl space cover was faulty. BPM didn't arrange for the duct cleaners until I had had enough of them dragging their feet on the issue.
