    I returned items on 8/4, took until 9/6 to receive an email stating I was getting a refund. Problem is the account listed is not my credit card. Today I provided proof of which credit card was used. The response I received from **** ********* We have a system that automatically processes refunds. We do not enter your card details manually. We do not even have access to your card information. This is our last response. I guess no refund is being made to me but somebody got my refund. I would not trust making purchases through their website or trying to return any item. Clearly they have an issue with their system and I doubt I am first to have my refund made to someone else credit card.

    We greatly appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. ******* review and would like to clarify certain points where her comments do not reflect the facts of this transaction.

    It is not accurate that no refund is being made. Ms. ******* order was fully refunded in good faith. While our published return policy allows for a restocking fee and requires return shipping costs paid by the customer, we waived those requirements. In addition, because of warehouse processing delays, we chose to issue the refund without inspecting the returned merchandise, to expedite resolution.

    It is also incorrect that the refund was sent to someone elses account. Refunds are processed exclusively through ******** secure payment system, which automatically credits the refund to the original payment method used at checkout. Inspire Hardware has no ability to see, enter, or direct payment information. At no point did we access or alter Ms. ******* card details, nor do we have the technical ability to do so.

    We provided Ms. ****** with screenshots confirming the refund was processed successfully. If she does not yet see the credit in her statement, the next step is for her to work with her card issuer. Only the issuing bank can trace and confirm the posting of funds once they leave ******** system.

    Over the course of several weeks, our team responded to Ms. ******* repeated calls and emails, reiterating these facts and providing documentation. When the communication became excessive, repetitive and inappropriate (rude to our team), despite the refund being confirmed, we informed her that we would not be providing further replies, as all available information and proof had already been given.

    Finally, while Ms. ******* review suggests otherwise, Inspire Hardware did process her refund in full, went beyond our stated return policy to do so, and handled it securely through Shopify. We regret the delay and her dissatisfaction with the process, but we wish to reassure the BBB and potential customers that ********************** acted with fairness, transparency, and within secure payment protocols at all times.
