    Used to be good but I went in today and it was terrible. I needed to ship two boxes so I walked in with them stacked on top of each other. Only one employee and it took him (later I learned he was the owner ***** a while to help **** put the boxes on the counter one on top of the other. **** came and separated them to weigh and measure them. He said oh these boxes are used so we need to repack it for a few or we charge $50 for unstackable boxes. I said no thats ridiculous they are stacked on each other fine. **** then put his hand on the box and rested his body weight onto them to crush a box and said see they cant be stacked.**** then wanted to charge me $200 to send the boxes to ***** with the *** of a week. I said thats a lot is that including this $50 you want to charge me. **** said yes you need to pay $50 for the unstackable boxes. I picked up a box and stacked it onto the other and said look, they are stacked. **** still said no. I pointed out that not only are they stacked they literally have the ups store written on them. They are your boxes.**** was rude and belligerent and told me to either pay the fee or take my business elsewhere. I asked if I could talk to anyone else and **** said no and he was owner. **** said he gets audited for boxes that cant be stacked.**** again said pay the $200 including the $50 fee or leave. Then **** went and started to help other customers since the line was now to the door and he was the only person working. This is a scam to force you to pay them for their supplies and the "service" of packing. Well I left and went to the post office. They charged me $83 to ship the boxes to ***** in 4 days and thats with $300 insurance coverage in each box. I told the postal employees about **** and him saying the boxes cant be stacked while he physically crushed my boxes. They laughed and said their business has been picking up and its a lot of people coming in saying that *** is terrible.

    Hello ****, we understand the frustration of *** standards for shipping packages. *** does have additional charges for packages they classify as "irregular". Irregular packages are marked based on the durability, shape, and in this particular case the ability to hold up to 200lbs stacked on top. As shipping experts, we educate all our customers of these additional fees and offer solutions such as new packaging to avoid such fees. I apologize that the solutions offered to you were not up to your satisfaction. Please try to understand that if we do not take attention to these matters *** charges us for the irregular fees therefore, we must mark every package appropriately.

    Hi, I recently mailed a Certified Mail item from your store and accidentally lost the tracking number. I stopped in and your store manager ***** was not helpful or interested in helping me find it nor were any of the phone numbers she passed me along to. Please have the store owner call me to fix this. it seems like an easy fix but no one will help.
