    In February I was seeking an apartment in ********. I called this company to clarify a few details regarding pets, utilities, and fees. A week later I submitted an application that required a $50 application fee and $200 security deposit. The next day I received an email asking for additional documentation and I called them to confirm receipt. During that conversation it came up that my income was too high which was information not mentioned on their website or in my initial phone call. I withdrew my application with the understanding that the $50 application fee was forfeit, but that I was due a refund for the deposit. They refused to reverse the charges and said that I had to dispute them with my credit card company. I did so and was notified today that they are disputing my claim with the credit card company because the entire amount was the application fee.

    Due to the delay in the mail, we are just receiving the letter for complaint. I do see the compliant has been cancel due to no reply.  I would see like to still enter my rely to the company. 
    As reviewing email and with the onsite team . ************************* applied to live at Shenandoah H343839303838383**0H a tax credit community. We inform all our prospect that Shenandoah H343839303838383**0H is income-based community. If the prospect in over the income limit due to the family household. We always refund the deposit. We informed ****** it may take up to 30 days for the refund. The refunded was being process and we received an email from accounting that state the following


     We have been looking into an issue that had deposit #** short it is for *************************
    She paid with credit card and disputed her CC payment and won this payment needs to be reversed from her account ASAP.
    Please let me know when it is done.

    Application was denied for over income on 02/22/2024

    Deposit Accounting was done 02/22/2024

    CC payment disputed was sent over to us  on 04/15/2024 

    Stop payment on the check was put in on 04/15/2024 .

    If we did not put stop payment on the check ****** would have received the $200 from us and the credit card company
