    On June 6,2023 I visited this auto repair shop for repairs. Mechanic checked concerns advised I did need Wheel Bearings on back tires. Gave me a quote $ 48:00 dollars a piece. The owner advised he would drive me home rather than have me wait. I only live 4 blocks away. During the ride he talked about his autho which I commented on. (Black **** About 11:30 *************** (the owner) called ,car ready he will pick me up. Back at the shop he kept talking never quoting the balance,I gave him my credit card, he never said an additional fee would be charged. Then asked if I wanted a receipt I said yes. Which he gave me and I left. Later that evening I looked at my receipt and realized the cost. At this point I feel he had taken advantage of me a 73 year woman. I was charged $ ****** per wheel. I returned the next morning . Mechanic only person there ,he explained I was charged for charging my work,and stated the owner was new to the business and he was trying to train him. I let him know I was not pleased with the charges. Later that evening 2 calls came from that number,no messages left. Today ******* called at 3:37 pm regarding my complaint. She hung up after hearing my issues.. At 3:48 pm she called back and said they had given me a deal. I advised her I was charged 3 times the amount of original quote for the Bearings. She then mentioned the parts being higher. Advised her checking several on line quotes no parts were what they charged. I feel the owner during our talk was baiting me so as not to question prices..He stated he got his automobile and down-payment on the shop from a $225,000 law suit. Since that visit I have been told the business is not doing that well.. *************** told me also the state inspector for the Williamsburg Rd was very strict and he could do no inspection again getting my sympathy . Customers especially women should be made aware.
