    Jason Auto in max meadows VA guaranteed they could fully fix and put long tube exhaust headers on my 2010 dodge ram 1500, and they were supposed to put a leveling kit on as well. I bought all the parts myself for them to fix and replace my truck and they quoted me 6 hours of work. While charging me 85 dollars per hour for both jobs but the 6 hours turned into a 2 day job, they were originally going to charge 500 dollars for the entire job. when I dropped off my truck to get repaired they promised me that I did not need the adapters and that they could weld it. when I went to pick it up 2 days later they then told me they didn’t even have the welder to weld it, and since they didn’t weld the exhaust it now has a horrible exhaust leak causing my truck to run very rough causing it to not pass inspection. they proceeded to tell me it was safe to drive. on my way home I noticed my steering wheel continued to lock up causing me to almost wreck. I was at the shop when they finished working on my truck they did not give me an invoice a pretty much just kicked me out and told me “it was good to go”. I got home and tried to fix the problem myself but I could not I then called the next day to report the issue and they cussed me and told me “they could not do it in the first place” and denied everything they had previously told me. They then proceeded to tell me to report him to the Better Business Bureau because they wouldn’t do anything anyways.

    He brought in the headers and I told him they would not work, they were alot longer than what he was suppose to have on the truck.  The 02 sensors won't work because the wires were not long enough to reach the headers where they are suppose to go.  I told him the collectors for the bottom of the headers were missing and he said according to you tube you don't need those.    There were broken bolts from the old manifold that we had to extract, and this takes longer because you have to be careful removing those.   He is a relative of the mechanic that did the work and wanted the labor at no charge.   We charged him for about 1/2 of work we did.
