    The Richmond office of ******* ********* created the most miserable experience searching for tenancy that I have ever encountered. If I was a landlord I'd stay far away as they clearly aren't that invested in communicating with prospective tenants. First off, it took almost a full business week to get in touch with someone by phone. There are almost no ways to contact the office and speak to a real person, only endless emails sent into the void never to be returned. After I finally got on the phone with one of their agents, I specifically asked if a property was still available for immediate take over and if there were any other applicants. I was told that the property was definitely still available, so we spent $110 to get our applications in, heard back the next morning that they needed an additional document early Friday morning, and then radio silence until Monday at 7 pm. This 7pm email was the first time they acknowledged that they had everything from us, and in the same email they said that there were already two applications submitted ahead of ours. I specifically called to ask if there were any other applicants and the answer was no. With no way to contact them other than hoping you'd get a return email maybe once every 24 hours, they made us lose out on another property while we waited for a response. They are a bunch of crooks and liars trying to gain extra income from rental applications. We believe that the applicant was approved before our application was looked at, which would entitle us to a refund of our applicant fee as stated in their documents "If your application is received after another applicant has already been approved for tenancy, you may request a refund of your application fee ". Additionally, I know they record all their phone calls, and I wanted a copy of my call with the agent because I was blatantly lied to. On January 11th they said they would "investigate" and get back to me, but of course, that hasn't happened.

    ***** did not state I had to pay gas and almost 2 years later I find this out so now Im stuck with a 2 year back bill. You get no response when calling and no return call oh but you will get a respond text several days later. I WILL NEVER go thru them again. Im sure they will go back to my original lease and modify it but I have the original
