    **** met with my husband and I in November 2024, to discuss sealing our driveway and installing a basketball pad and basketball base for our basketball hoop. He stated to us if we signed the contract and had the work completed the same time as our friend he would take $100.00 off our driveway sealant and also stated all work would be completed within 2 ***. Total for the projects to be completed was $4100.00. Sealing $700.00 that included the $100.00 discount and $3400.00 for basketball pad/base installation. We signed contract on 11/14/24 and paid deposit of $2050.00 by check. He did complete the job on sealing our driveway on 11/22/24. He told us he would check on our driveway 2 times in 30 days to see how the sealant was doing. Plus we have a warranty. He never did that and we haven't seen him since. I texted him on 11/25/24, 12/3/24 and 12/18/24 asking when he would be out to complete the job. He responded via text on 12/18/24, stating he never received my previous texts on 11/25/24 and 12/3/24 that he was having issues with his phone but the phone had been fixed and the concrete plants are closed for the holiday he would reach out after the new year when everything open back up. The new year came 2025 and we never heard from him. On 3/20/25, I texted asking for a refund of our deposit for the job that wasn't completed in a timely manner and lack of communication (basketball pad/hoop installation) total $1350.00, no response. Messaged again on 3/27/25, giving a deadline of 4/4/25, no response. 4/7/25 called him and no answer, voicemail left. 5/2/25 another message from my husband giving deadline of 5/22/25, no response. We did state we would be reporting him to BBB and filing small claim court if no refund.

    October 2024 to March 2025 During this span of time, I worked to try to get ****** Sealcoating to complete a paving job. I eventually cancelled due to lack of communication. ****** Sealcoating promised a refund for work not completed, but that never occurred, and they refuse to respond. I am currently in the process of filing a court claim.
