Shavers / Albemarle Towing.I'm not sure where to begin:- I was in an Auto Accident, due to some crossover in my medications - thinking I was psychotic (my doctors disagreed,) the police had me sent to a facility (4 hours away) to be examined - I was released after a week with an "all clear"My car had been towed by Albemarle Towing:- I called them twice, but they would not release the car to friends, saying they needed positive personal identification - but they could accept text or e-mails - I explained that only "house" phones were usable (no cell phones) AND no computer - no extenuating circumstances allowed they claimed.Upon returning, I had them tow my car to a body shop:- grand total on bill was $1255, including $510 in storage.- I called to argue with them, but they told me it was all my fault; I had alcohol in a cooler in the back seat, inferring it was drunk driving. There was no charge by the police: for anything.- after her cooler comment, she hung up on **** wrote a bad ****** review, upon which she countered by text:"Your review on Yelp is unfair and does not state the facts. I will respond accordingly." Is she threatening me, a customer? After I re-explained my previous situation by text, she countered with:- "we all have issues - we don't negotiate - we give to other charities - you have the facts wrong AND the most hilarious - stop trying to extort us."Two words of caution: stay away.
