I am copy/pasting a portion of the email I sent to ****** *******, CEO of Camper World (had to trim to fit character requirement):We were pressed to buying a used model of a camper we were interested in that was new 30 minutes away at another Camping World location. Also convinced that our trade had a value above what we would've sold it for on the private market. We were upfront about the issue that the current camper of ours had.Used camper was very aggressively sold to us.Directed to a new gentleman I haven't met yet. Notes issue with the slide. Which was already mentioned upfront before the continual offers were made.Upon this, I am told to wait while he 'investigates' what is going on with the assessment and the trade in form. When he comes back he continues on to say that the form references 'bad slide motor' I reiterate I was never that specific. I said my slide is broken. Returns to say, slide motor did go bad, but that caused additional issues.I protest slightly, stating quite bluntly that we were pressed into this deal, I drove 3 hours to get here and was led to believe that there'd be a very different outcome.I am asked to pay $2500 to order parts to repair the trade in.I do not feel good about this deal at all. I feel lied to and cheated. Avoided me like the plague after they got my ******** I am leaving there's a "Oh wait, we owe you a leaf spring!"I walk out to my all hooked up and ready to go pickup truck. I get in and leave, not wanting to be there any longer. I drive the three hours home, arriving just after sundown at 8PM. I find the tag stating rejected and a failed safety inspection form for the trailer I just towed for 3 hours down the highway. I was given an unsafe trailer, was not made aware of the failure, of safety, that generated the need for the "leaf spring" repair. That which still has to be accomplished, in the middle of the season in which I am supposed to enjoy the very thing I was coerced into purchasing.

I purchase a brand-new 2024 Rockwood Minilite from Camping World - ******** ** on the evening of Sept. 10, 2024. On our walkthrough, we noted some concerns with the roof and agreed that it could be remedied under the manufacturer's warranty. We proceeded with the purchase with all documentation being completed noting the need for the repair. We did not leave the dealership until 7:30 pm. We did not arrive home until after 9 pm so we did not setup the unit until the next day. On Thursday, I went to clean the bugs off the front of the unit from our road trip home and found cracks in the gelcoat and fiberglass nose cap. I immediately got on the phone with Camping World and reported the issue. After speaking with the salesperson, **** and speaking with ******, I sent pictures showing the problem. I told ******, that this was not acceptable and that I wanted to bring the unit in and trade it for another unit of the same make and model. I was then put in touch with the Sales Manager, ****** ****** and he advised me that they would not swap out the unit. I proceeded from there to speak with ** corporate on a few different occasions, just to end up back with ****** and the same response. I spent over $45,000 on this unit and two years ago we purchased a unit for over $75,000. You would think these people would want repeat business and would bend over backward to resolve an issue. To me, the simple resolution would not be to rewrite the documents, although this can be done too, but to make VIN corrections with the bank, DMV, and whoever else would need it. Bottom line! I want my unit swapped out. I don't think I should have to go through all of the headaches and long process of dealing with multiple warranties on a brand-new purchase.
