  This almost one-year review details our project with FRDM, who installed a backyard setup and artificial turf in the front yard in October 2024.While the artificial turf and fence installation were excellent, the overall project was a source of frustration. The fence team was professional and even corrected their own mistake. However, communication was poor, as information from FRDM didn't reach the subcontracted crews.The concrete crew did an acceptable job, but the primary subcontractor crew seemed inexperienced. This led to quality issues and constant miscommunication. The fence team was given the wrong plans, and the crew tried to connect to a neighbor's fence against our prior agreement with FRDM.Poor workmanship was a major issue. Pipes were not fully capped in back, and a buried drip line was cut, which we discovered when it created a fountain in the spring. The crew failed to install barriers at the bottom of the fences to contain rocks and mulch, and the barriers they did install are temporary and require constant maintenance. Site prep was also subpar; leveling didn't extend to the sides of the house, and the turf pads were uneven. The project manager appeared inexperienced and didn't properly supervise the work.Overall, materials and the fence installation were top-notch, but poor installation and communication made the project a constant struggle. We believe the quality of the overall installation was very poor.If you end up using them: Quintuple check everyone has the correct plans and never trust that FRDM has communicated any finer details to the subcontractors. Don't trust the main subcontractors alone as they may leave without notice claiming to be done or rush to finish early to avoid work. Don't trust them with sprinkler systems.Don't give up out of frustration (like we did) when trying to communicate with them. Don't do "small" projects with them, as they won't give you the proper time and effort.

  End product was ok but the company is awful. Terrible communication with us and internally. The workers had to ask us why they were there multiple times instead of receiving that information from the company. They caused damage while doing the job. They had to redo the job because they didn't do it as we asked. I would only recommend them to people I hate.

  I had my backyard done by them in April and it has been amazing. Transformed it from a mud and gravel pit to a beautiful area. Also theyve been super responsive to any questions or help Ive needed. 10/10 would recommend!

  They did my grass to turf conversion. It looks amazing. Theyve come back on their own without me asking to check up on job and if Im still happy. They were quick, clean and efficient. High quality work.
