The PROBLEM is that the door to door salesman are pushy, rude, and intrusive. They have approached multiple times over the years, and blatantly ignore "No Soliciting" signs or requests. I'm currently waiting on back surgery and movement is extremely difficult. I was sitting in my garage today on a very important phone call and when they approached, I told them "We're not interested" and tried to go back to my phone call. That simple instruction and my three "No soliciting" signs were not honored and they continued a sales pitch - I HAD TO TELL THEM 5 TIMES TO LEAVE MY PROPERTY. I had to physically get up to walk through my garage - in a ton of pain - and confront them further, ordering them to leave and that they were extremely disrespectful by not leaving when asked. I have now gotten MULTIPLE people in my neighborhood describing the exact same actions by the same representatives as well as other representatives from this company. Our entire neighborhood is exploring legal action against the company for this, and there is a ton of evidence on video and photos that back it up. I've told them that the next time it happens I will ask them one time and on the 2nd sales attempt, I'm calling the police, reporting an intruder and giving them physical descriptions as well as video of the interactions. Looking at the reviews I'd say there are a LARGE number of people who would be interested in a class action lawsuit for harassment, and that's literally not a joke.Business Response

Mr. ******, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our sales representatives are trained to respect no soliciting signs. We will make sure that the team is retrained on our company policies.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Not only are there multiple reports throughout your own website's reviews for this to be a true statement, yesterday alone brought at least TEN reports of this being the MO of your salesforce not only now but in past excursions into the Wells Branch area, many of them with Ring doorbell recordings. Our neighborhood is officially looking into how to coordinate for legal harrassment issues. I will forward not only the online responses within our neighborhood group of over 1800 people, but I will also ask those who have it on recordings to forward those videos to me for sharing to you. There is not a single case of responders saying anything OTHER than "they completely disregarded our No soliciting signs. You can even see it on [said] Ring video." In my case, I have no less than THREE - one at my doorbell, one at the porch entry, and one that is eye level to the door. It is easy to write that they are trained to respect no soliciting signs, the reality is that they don't, instead using the phrase "Oh, we didn't notice them." You have people who have small children sleeping, dogs that do not need to be disturbed, and people who sleep during the day as well as people with mobility issues, such as myself, that do not appreciate the blatant disregard of the No Soliciting signs when posted, and your staff is lying to you if they tell you they are respecting those.
Sincerely,
***** ******Initial Complaint

I had 14 windows installed by Performance Windows back in May of 2024 and they pulled a building permit and completed the job back in May 2024. There are missing screws in the windows and they have never been inspected in order to close the building permit. I can not sell my house until this permit is closed. I have called the company numerous times and have had no results. I am considering suing them for breach of contract.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Mr. ********* is correct that his permit should have been closed by now. We have talked to the County and have now called Mr. ********* twice in order to schedule a final inspection so we can close the permit. Once we get this done, we can close it out. We appreciate Mr. *********'s patience.

I had a door to door sales man named ******* knock on my door. I kindly said we were not interested and said please to respect my no soliciting sign. He then argued legally he doesnt have to listen to the sign. I said youre right but Im still not interested. He then continued to yell and put his door in my door frame preventing me shutting the door. He yelled at me that I am being financially dumb because he is trying to help. He then called me names using derogatory terms ****** he was very rude and when I threatened to call the cops he finally left. But when leaving he spit on my walk way. I am not trying to do anything but get this company fined for this or this guy terminated.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We only have on representative in ******* name *******. Unfortunately, he never uses that name, he goes by Cam. I spoke to him about this interaction and he denies its occurrence. He has never received any complaint with our company.
I did use this opportunity to do a No Soliciting sign refresher training.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding a recent door-to-door solicitation by one of their representatives at my home on 12/10/24. Despite having a prominently displayed "No Soliciting" sign, their representative disregarded this clear request and knocked on my door. The purpose of a "No Soliciting" sign is to ensure privacy and prevent unsolicited interruptions. By ignoring this sign, their representative not only disrespected my wishes but also demonstrated a lack of regard for professional and ethical standards.I value my privacy and expect companies to honor these boundaries. I urge the company to better train their employees to recognize and respect "No Soliciting" signs in the future. Additionally, I request that you confirm that they have addressed this issue and ensure it does not happen again.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take No Soliciting signs from our potential customers at each door we knock very seriously. We have enacted a retrain to our knocking staff and addressed and trained on doors that have a No Soliciting signs.
Again, thank you for alerting us to this issue.

Purchased windows October 2023. One of the windows doesnt fully close or lock. Two of the windows are uneven. One of the screens were missing. When Performance Windows finally ordered a new window (only one) it sat in a warehouse until finally discovered. They didnt call to schedule. They just stopped by one day unannounced and not scheduled. When it was finally installed, it was the wrong size. We were advised it was not measured correctly for a second time. So that window still wont close all the way or lock. They knew nothing about the uneven windows. They replaced the screen with one the wrong size (has gaps). That was on May 22nd. As of today, July 5th, I have had no response or communication from Performance Windows and have no idea when they will fix our issues.Business Response
