    My family had a boat stored there for years. A family friend went to get it serviced in May of 2024 and the boat was gone. We had never been told of anything that had gone wrong, no notification of missed payments, no notification of moving our boat, absolutely no effort was made to reach us. We call them to figure out where it is and they told us that it is in a "secure location" but that we owed them the money we hadn't paid them. We had been paying $50/month, as the contract stated. They informed us after we discovered the boat was gone that it had been raised to $175. We continued to pay the contractually agreed upon amount of $50. Never missed a payment. After we get in contact with them, they cannot prove that they sent an email to us, they even stated that they weren't sure whose boat it was. After they realized who we were they demanded that we backpay them for the months we didn't pay the $175 they claimed to have told us about. Essentially, they are holding our boat hostage until we agree to pay them. We have spoken to the manager of this property and her dad. Both are completely unwilling to even discuss the matter, even though they stole our property and are demanding a ransom for it to be released. The father(owner) spoke to us but he hung up after being extremely rude and talking down to us as if we were children. We called back and have sent texts, left voicemails, but he hasn't even responded once. They have not showed one iota of respect or given this the attention we deserve.
