Max V****** owes us money - reimbursement for work not completed and for damages.

Max V****** was engaged to install a tub and tile for a master bathroom and tile a guest bathroom tub.
The shower pan was built unlevel. It is 1/2 inch off from the farthest left and right sides. Understandably it should have a slight elevation to the drain. However it should be level around the perimeter. It feels very off and unlevel when standing on it. When this was brought to Max's attention he only argued, defended his poor workmanship. This now must be demoed out and rebuilt.
We had an appointment, set by Max personally, to install the master bathtub. I arrived over 45 mins early, waiting another 30 mins - after nobody showed up I text Max asking if he was on route. He replied, they were working another job. He never contacted me to reschedule or advise of the change of plans. The shear disrespect for my schedule and lack of professionalism is appalling.
I told him he should have communicated with me, as I arranged my schedule to meet with him. He got angry, then proceeded to tell me to get someone else to do the work.
So far he has caused damages over $6,000. He apparently sub contracts tile installation out, rather than do it himself - I have come to learn. They damaged and made wrong tile cuts on very expensive imported tile. Additionally, the property will not be ready for tenants as originally planned due to his walking off the job.
He threatened me with a slander lawsuit if I posted this review. I am not afraid, as these are the facts and I have texts, voice recordings, paid receipt, email and photos to prove it. Guess he does not want the public to know the truth.
