I complained over a year ago that when it rains outside, the floor beneath my carpet becomes wet. When I discovered this I requested to be moved. It took me months for the front office to even inspect the matter.Once they did they finally determined that the carpet needed to be replaced, without actually fixing whatever allows water to flow into my apartment. When this happens, the carpet not only stays wet for over a week but it stinks very badly. The shape of the floor beneath the carpeting is so rotten that bugs freely come into my house from holes and openings that lead to outside. I also believe that the carpet repeatedly getting wet causes mold and black mold which concerns me the most. I have my 4 year old son over 4 days out of the week and that could be very hazardous to his and mines health now and in the future. Summerbend ignored my request to move me from the apartment for months and months even when I expressed how I could not live in my apartment with wet stinking carpet and possible mold beneath my floor. Once they respond, *** often tells me how it isn't their fault, and that she's reaching out to management for decisions. And it takes days and days of no communication before they finally send someone over to put another band-aid on the situation.My leaky toilet that I often complain about which is documented flooded my apartment while I was out of town. It completely soaked every room. The front office sent someone over here who tore the padding from beneath the carpet, and proceeded to put the same rotten, soaked, and stinking carpet back down, run a wet vac over it, and left.When I asked the front office what was going on, they informed me that they intended to put new padding under this same rotten carpet when it dries. So since Monday, I have been in an apartment in which there is no padding under the carpet which is severely affecting my ankles and feet, dirty stinking, and soaking, carpet..
