  We began our contracting process with Onyx Roofing, once we had made the checks that they asked for we were told that they were needing to change it to Parallel Roofing & Construction LLC since that was the non commercial side that was going to be doing the work.We sent the funds that the insurance had sent in order to begin the work per the contractors instructions. Work begun after about 3 months of the claim being submitted to the insurance agency. Roof work was completed and looked worse than prior to the damages that the were submitted for the claim. We asked multiple times for this to be addressed both with contacting the insurance claims adjuster and then repaired if approved. This work was noted as completed by the contractor even though there are still visible issues. The contractor said he would work directly with the insurance company to resolve any issues and gain approval for any additional expenses that were found in the process. This was not done. The insurance agents verified that they did not receive notice or pictures of any further damages to be approved. Now the contractor has not finished the work that was stated, nor do we wish to continue working with him. He is reaching out to people to try to gain more money that they insurance agency is not releasing due to incomplete work and lack of evidence or proper paperwork. This contractor presented himself as a representative of a different company to begin with and then switched it to a different company when it came to receiving the funds. We have relayed all the information to our insurance claims adjuster and they will be reviewing the work that has been done alongside the incomplete work as well as supplying someone new to do any further work. We wish all communication to go through the BBB for any refunds that may need to take place to repair 'completed' work or incomplete work.

  Firstly, it has come to our attention that certain libelous and defamatory remarks about Parallel Roofing have been made public by you. We request these be removed immediately, as they do not accurately represent the facts of the services provided. Statements that mischaracterize our work can have damaging consequences and affect our reputation unfairly.
  Regarding the services performed, our records indicate that additional work was completed beyond the initial scope, as requested by Mrs. ***** *******. Despite this, there remains a balance due on your account, covering both the deductible and the remaining balance outlined in the invoice receipt. We kindly ask that you settle this outstanding amount promptly, as failure to do so will result in the imposition of a mechanics lien on your property and may result in legal action to foreclose.
