            This complaint is for two transactions conducted by the hotel.1. Amount: $16.48 ***********, ** ***** *** ************** Merchant Website Purchased:******** 18, 2023 Posted:Mon, Mar 20, 2023 Purchased By:***************************** I canceled my stay at this hotel months before the date. I was not in Dallas and did not complete this transaction, so I am not sure why they are billing my credit card. I tried calling the hotel staff and they were clueless.2. Amount: $647.11 Confirmation number ************ Check-inFriday, March 17, 2023 (from 3:00 PM)I was told I would be receiving a refund for my stay since I canceled months in advance due to a family emergy that required me to be more strict with my funds and I could not attend this convention. I never received my refund.I have tried calling the hotel on multiple occasions and each time the staff member gives me a different answer. I want a full refund for both of these purchases. I am very displeased with this hotel's shady business practices.

            I was price gouged because of a simple mistake of booking the wrong corporate rate. Being a platinum elite member didn’t make any difference to this hotel. In fact it seemed to irritate them when I finally had to bring it up when they were being a bit hostile to my request to try to get as close to the original convention rate. Never felt more embarrassed about being a high tier member of what usually is and should be a very established company that deals with resolutions exceptionally well until this stay.
