Please do not think the Woodard wrought iron furniture is of the same quality from previous decades, we had an older set the held up much better. We made the mistake of paying 3k for set thru one of their awful online dealers, Patio Living, during the pandemic. Never again. No local dealers even stock this stuff because of Woodard's customer service. Only online sleazy dealers are selling this stuff now. Our expensive wrought iron table set is now showing spots of rust where the powered coating was not applied well at all. It has only been two years. This set has been treated like a baby so not due to use. Woodard suggested the only way to get touch up paint is to request from dealer who would not honor their quote & the owner laughed at **! They are in ********** and the older owner sounded like some mafia bunch the way he talked to me. After complaining to Woodard, the umbrella they left out of our quote arrived. This was an anniversary ************** really ruined this expensive purchase. Woodard touch up paint is a really bad idea since you can't use aerosol paint can to blend with powered coated finish. You will have to sand the entire top & then use oil or enamel or acrylic based lacquer paint. Why? Because the rust needs to be removed completely since it will spread under the remaining powered coated surface. Woodard offerings are now down to very few. The quality is worse. The customer service is worse. Their dealers are sleazy. So many companies today operate poorly & try to live on past reputation until that fails too. This isn't the Woodard quality of the past. I have more work with this new set to prevent it from rusting out on **. Buy heavy duty aluminum patio set, not from Woodard, since if the paint chips it won't rust on you. I wonder if the wrought iron is made in ***** now? My daughter's Woodard wrought iron set is also showing signs of rust too. Don't make the same expensive mistakes we did. This is not an anomaly but rather what you can expect.
