    Our home was flooded by a faulty appliance and all the hardwood floors had to be refinished. All household goods had to be packed and removed from the home before the flooring could be fixed. Pack2Normal was hired to perform the packing, moving and storage of our belongings. Once the floors were repaired Pack2Normal returned our household furnishings. Our refrigerator was damaged in the process of delivery back to the home. There were several scratches and dents to the stainless finish as well as puncture marks in the side of the appliance where it appears a dolly/cart was used to move the appliance. Also, an antique wooden stool for our antique organ was never returned to us and is still missing. We contacted the vendor Pack2Normal about our issues and we were told sorry but there was nothing they could do. After several correspondences back and forth the vendor did state a payment of $400 would be made for damages, which payment was never made. As of today we have a damaged refrigerator that will cost $4,000 to replace and we have a missing antique stool that is irreplaceable. The vendor refuses any remedy for the damages they caused.

    Hello,

    In regards to the complaint filed, the antique stool referenced is just awaiting a timeframe of when the stool can delivered. As far as the reimbursement for cosmetic damages to the refrigerator, $400 was proposed for cosmetic damages. The refrigerator is not broken or destroyed; therefore, a replacement refrigerator is not warranted. A response was never sent back from the insured; therefore, it has been at a standstill.

    I am rejecting this response because: The vendor has never contacted us about delivering the missing antique stool.  Also, we were told by the vendor that they were mailing us a check for $400 without any response needed by us.  We are still waiting on the $400 check.

    The vendor claims the refrigerator is not destroyed, but I do not agree.  Because the refrigerator has so many cosmetic blemishes it is not presentable in my home.  It's an embarrassment when company sees the condition of the refrigerator.  From a mechanical standpoint the refrigerator works but from a visual cosmetic standpoint the refrigerator does not work.
