      They destroyed my son kitchen table, broke his recliner and lost his big screen tv. Stay away from the nightmare that they are

      This is unfortunate to hear. We did pick this customer up he was delivered. All furniture was bundled in blanket wraps to help protect it. And everything arrived within our facility in the condition it was picked up in. Nothing was moved until the driver showed up to load everything from our warehouse and sent out for delivery. When everything was being loaded everything was in account for and marked as loaded. If damage occurred during the long drive, during other clients being delivered prior to his shipment, or during the unload and delivery process this was another driver and not our own.

      But all clients are provided with insurance automatically and additional insurance can be purchased prior to pick-up. We always take care when picking up and delivering our clients. Please make sure you follow the instructions to file a claim with the insurance department.

      They picked up the furniture and we were told they would be taking it to Florida, i also tried filing a claim with insurance company who did nothing but request paperwork which i sent and now they do not respond, they also promised it would be there in 7 to 10 days and it actually took four weeks to get to Florida so they probably loaded and unloaded numerous times whcih caused the damage. as far as i am concerned they picked it up and they are responsible for delivering the furniture in good shape, they also lost a 65" TV

      Your contract states that legally we have 21 business days. Please see below copied from your contract. *************** contracted with you, we simply picked you up and help your items in storage until *************** picked you up and delivered you. *************** is also the company you are filling through their insurance. This is not MOVE US Inc. we simply helped out on a job. Please go read your contract thoroughly, and accuse the appropriate company.

      DELIVERY SERVICES: All Long Distance deliveries are made on a flexible basis with an estimated arrival time up to 21 business days per customer`s first available delivery date (Ready Date). Unless noted on this Estimate Cost for Service, customers must be able and available to receive the goods starting the day after the goods were picked up. Any changes made by customers to their Ready Date may result in additional storage fees. The charge for storage handling is $0.75 per cubic foot per storage entry, the charge for storage rent is $0.50 per cubic foot per month. All estimated times of arrivals are subject to change depending on many industry factors such as traffic, weather conditions, unforeseen mechanical problems or unexpected delays with prior deliveries scheduled before you. No te: We will not discount any account due to any delays listed above. Our company will keep the customer informed verbally with a new / revised ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) depending on the company schedule.

      SHIPMENT VALUATION AND COVERAGE: Carrier Basic Liability of $0.60 per pound per article at no charge. If any article is lost, destroyed or damaged while in your mover`s custody, your mover`s liability is limited to the actual weight of the lost, destroyed or damaged article multiplied by $0.60 cent per pound per article. This is the basic liability level and is provided to you at no charge. It is considerably less than the average value of household goods. Full value protection coverage is available for additional cost at customer's request (cannot be purchased after move has begun). See "Full Value Protection Amount of Liability" above.
