have a 2016 ****** Rogue financed at us community credit union, they have had both mine and my husbands cell numbers and e mail addresses from the start of the loan.we moved to ********* ** in Sept 2021 and had to get new cell phones.Last month i noticed the credit union had sent my payment back, so i called them and they said " we have been trying to reach us" and told me i was in default and needed ******* to keep car. ended up calling my brother and he put it on his credit card and that i had to pay the interest while paying on the loan. i have never been late on any payment to them ,so i was really confused . turns out they had put their own insurance on the car and sent back two payments to my bank before i caught it and called them. My husband proved to them that the car has had full coverage on it since we bought it.They have reimbursed ** ****** of the ****. they received from her brother and said kept the two car payments and said they would only fix one of the marks to my credit.they brought this on by not using my husbands e mail to contact us. he cosigned the loan and they have had his info. they should clear all bad marks to my credit and why do this now and not 2020 when we switched insurance companies thanks
