On Feb 27, 2024 at 2:21pm I stopped by Valero Gas Station at Summer and Highland, I have never visited this gas station before. I stopped here due to my gas light indicator coming on and this being the closes location to me. I stopped at pump 2 and used my card to received $50.01 of gas putting my gas tank back on full. Prior to getting gas at this store I had no issues with my 2006 ***** Odyssey, no check engine light on, or troubling concerns. Within leaving the gas station my car started to experience complications within 5 minutes of driving off. My car was now stalling, engine misfiring, rough idling. I called the number on ****** for the store immediately to voice my concerns I was referred to a 1800 number that took down my concerns, I still have not heard back. The next morning my car struggled to crank up, and at that point the engine light popped on. I tried adding better quality of gas to help the situation and it did not improve even when all the gas was removed. It was difficulty reaching the owner I tried stopping by the store twice leaving my contact information. Eventually on 03/6/24 I received a random text of an inspection form, which I found out was from the owner. I called the number on the inspection to speak with the code enforcer that came out on 03/06/24 and he informed me he did come out a week prior but he more so checks the safety of the equipment and not the actually gas so the inspection form is not accurate in this situation. I finally took my car for a diagnostics test and found out I now need a Tune Up due to the bad gas causing misfires and damaging my spark plugs. I tried reaching back out to the store manager twice since finding out all of this with no response. I am requesting $1050.00 in compensation to balance out the gas I paid for, the diagnostics test, the tune up needed on the vehicle, the day and a half of work I had to miss, and the inconvenience of the ordeal.
