    I purchased a batwing faring with stereo system for my 2011 Harley Davidson fat boy from DennisKirk.com the fairing was made by reckless motorcycles, I was told they handle the warrantees for Dennis kirk so I called reckless motorcycles and informed them about the defects and have not offered a solution to fix the problem. They have told me to drill new holes ( which would void the warranty) to fix the brackets that arnt ther proper fit, another time they said maybe I we can meet up with them at a swap meet and they can take a look at it( which isn't a solution) they have not offered a viable solution ! this product is defective and does not fit my bike like it says it does. I spent almost $1000 on this and I have contacted them numerous times via phone and email to complain , all to no avail

    Absolutely atrocious customer service!
    Was told apx six weeks, took about 10.
    Called Reckless at 7 weeks because I hadn't heard anything.
    Was told my fairing was being shipped that day.
    Finally received a tracking number, wich I should have already had, but never received. Which they blamed on my email. Though all other emails were received.
    Checked tracking a few days later, said fairing was being sent back to factory.
    Called reckless again, was told fairing is definitely on its way.
    Days later still no fairing.
    Called reckless again. Had an employee contact UPS, was told I should have had fairing by now, but don't!
    Gave it a few more days.
    Called reckless again.
    Waited on hold for 25 minutes, only to be hung up on.
    Called reckless again!
    They found the fairing damaged, sitting on their warehouse floor.
    But I had to call them to find this out!
    Wat told they had another she'll sitting there, they would swap out the electronics, and get it sent out.

    I asked if they would overnight it to me for the inconvenience? NOPE!
    Asked if they would refund some of my money for the inconvenience? NOPE!
    Was told they MIGHT include a free accesory for my trouble, and they included NOTHING! Not even an apology! This is the degree of customer service I get for spending over $1300 with this company!

    First and last time I do business with this company, unless the make some sort of attempt to remedy this absolutely horrible experience!

    We are sorry to hear this, although it sounds a bit skewed from the reality of what happened. After shipping, this customer contacted me about the fairing, I contacted UPS and was told by UPS that the fairing was to be delivered to the customer. A few days later it was returned to Reckless instead of being delivered to the customer like ups stated. Upon arrival, the box had been badly damaged (assuming this is why UPS returned it to us instead of delivering to customer.) Within 4 days we made a totally new shell and replaced all of the electronics and re-shipped the fairing to this customer, despite being on 7-9 week delay due to covid (this build time delay was emailed to Vonda 3/26 via the email that she originally provided that did not work).
    I spoke with Vonda on the phone and updated the email address to a new email because the original she gave me was not working. I do see in my system that we had to change the address for the email to go through. We are sorry you are less than satisfied but we have done our part and feel that this review is lacking some critical info.
