For months now, Workout Anytime North Shore has engaged in a breach of contract by overcharging me per my contract. I have contacted them multiple times to resolve the issue. The first time, I was ghosted. The second time, I was told my account would be sent to collections for terminating my end of the contract due to the breach.

I have submitted this complaint to the TN AG. Several of the charges have been disputed through my bank. I am disputed another few now. All of the following charges are made after the initial breach of contract, where I was to pay $**** bi weekly and was charged $****.

All charges up to 5/19 have been verified as disputed by my bank. Five new charges have appeared since.

This business employs deceptive sales tactics and lies to customers to get them to 'sign'.

I use a service called ****** *** *** which gives you access to multiple gyms in the Chattanooga area in exchange for a monthly membership fee. Workout Anytime on the North Shore was one of the participating gyms in the ****** *** *** program. However, when I went to use my membership at Workout Anytime, they required a $10 'upgrade' as part of the initial registration process. The manager assured me that I would not be charged a recurring fee because she oversaw the process to 'downgrade' members after the initial registration process. That was not the case. They have been charging me monthly and have sent the bill to collections. I have yet to find a suitable resolution with the business after several attempts.

    This has been resolved.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I paid the balance to settled the account. I did not pay the bill because the business resolved the issue but to keep collections from sending to the credit agencies.

    Sincerely,
