    On 6/23/2021 my wife submitted a request for a purchase price on a new 2021 Ford Ranger through an employee partner program of LifeMart with Ford. She selected Gateway Ford from the participating dealer list and received a price offer via email from both **** ****** the General Manager and *** ****** the Sales Manager confirming the availability of the vehicle, as well as their purchase price for that vehicle. However, when contacting ***** ***** the BDC representative (buyer discount) to schedule the visit to purchase she informed me that they are not currently participating in any partner programs at this time even though we have a written purchase offer from their General Manager and Sales Manager stating they do.

    I purchased a vehicle from Gateway several months ago. We agreed on price and they took it to clean it up. When we went to leave in the vehicle, I noticed it had some damage on the drivers side that me, or my husband hadn't seen. The salesman said that should buff out. I ask if they would do it, and he said no. We took it anyway. It is a Chrysler van with stow n go seating. The main reason I wanted this van was to haul my scooter, and wheelchair in. When we got home, we found out the tabs had broken to put the second row seating down. I contacted both salesmen that had helped us, and received no return call. I then contacted the executive manager, who scolded the salesmen for not taking care of their customers after the sale. I contacted her on May 14, and still haven't got the parts. She wanted to order cheap parts from eBay, and didn't do that. Of course for an almost $30,000 van, I think they should supply oem parts, but I guess they decided to do nothing. I would never suggest anyone to buy there. Because, once they have your money, they're done with you.

    We did extensive research for this customer, had multiple discussions back and forth and found the necessary parts to complete a permanent repair. She lives about 60 miles away and refused to come to the dealership for us to complete the repairs. The repairs must be made in house where the tools are to complete the job. We have always been willing and able to take care of this customer. We have been in business here for 50 years. We would not have survived 5 years if we didn't do what we say we will do.

    This is simply not true. I didn't tell them I wouldn't come back to complete the repairs. She never called back to say she had the part. There was no reason to do extensive research on a simple part. It was tabs that allow you to fold the seats down. For someone in the car business 50 years, should of been simple. This just affirms your dishonesty.
