Constant phone calls at all hours after telling a door to door solicitor that I wasn't interested in their services. Also, the company stated in their mailings and calls that 61 homes in my community used their services. That is impossible because there are on 50 homes in my community occupied and at least 30 that I can state with absolute certainty do not use the service.Business Response

In review of the complaint, Corporate customer care contacted the non-customer directly via phone and email on *****. Corporate customer care have taken the necessary steps to ensure non-customers request is properly handled so that they will not be contacted by TruGreen. Per non-customers request, Corporate customer have added non-customer information to our internal Do Not Contact database. The local TruGreen office is also aware of non-customers request. These changes can take up to 30-days to filter through all systems.
Calls are up to 30 days, and mail is 6+ weeks but possibly longer because materials are printed so far in advance.Initial Complaint

We have had a ticket open with Trugreen since they killed a portion of our lawn last year with their products. They kept promising us resolution and a fix for it, but have never followed through, instead trying to push services on us. I have called several times trying to close my account with them, but instead of closing it, they keep pushing our service dates, or trying to talk us into other services. At this point they won't even let me close my account!Business Response

I signed up for the premium lawn and landscape package with TruGreen ************ in **********, **** in September of 2021. I was told that a specialist would be out to review my **** acre property and would set up a chemical maintenance plan specific to my yard -- lawn, shrubs, trees and insect control. A complete aeration and overseeding was part of this program and was one of the first things that TruGreen performed without properly analyzing my actual property. I was charged $715 for this service, and assured that all services were covered by TruGreen's "Healthy Lawn Guarantee" and that this overseeding and aeration was necessary for a healthy lawn in the spring of 2022. Fastforward to March of 2022: My lawn looks like it was overseeded with weeds! I have placed numerous calls complaining and asking for correction of this issue from TruGreen, but have gotten no assistance with my 2 acres of weeds. A ************* Manager came out to my home and agreed that the situation is very bad. He promised that the local branch in ********** would spray my yard for weeds, then perform the necessary analysis to get the yard prepared for another aeration and overseeding-- FREE OF CHARGE. None of this has taken place. I have placed repeated calls to get a refund of my $715.00 for the overseeding so I can hire another chemical service to remove all of these weeds, and start the lawn seeding properly. From the national customer service reps to the local sales rep who sold me this package-- NO ONE is responding to my request for a full refund. In fact, TruGreen field techs actually FERTILIZED MY WEEDS with ******** treatments, so now they are out of control! The company did refund for these unnecessary treatments, but are refusing to deal with the refund of my foundational issue which is the completely failed over-seeding and aeration. It is clear that TruGreen owes me a full refund immediately.Business Response

Last fall I was contacted by TruGreen ********* selling their services. I asked if they can take care of moles, to which they said yes. They said I would get a better price if I prepaid for a year, to which I did. When the snow melted this spring the moles were horrible in my yard. When TruGreen came out to treat I mentioned it to the technician who said "We do not treat for moles." I called TruGreen to cancel my service. They said they would refund my account minus the service they provided. They said they would refund $296. They said it would take **** days for the refund. It has been nearly a month with no refund. Also, each time I call I am cut off, or assured that the refund will come, however it has not happened yet.Business Response

I received a phone call from the business the day I reported it to you. They told me (I believe on the 4th) that they would refund the amount that you quoted in the report. They also said it would take **** days to see the refund. This is day 7 and it has not yet been posted to my card. If I do not see the refund by Friday I will contact you and let you know. Hired to treat back yard a year ago and after 12 month my result are horrible we have called numerous times and emailed with no response from company to resolve the issue we have spent ****** and left with a yard my fur baby's can't walk on because of thorns in their feet so disappointed in the company communication to resolve thisCustomer Answer
