We just moved to TN a week ago and had to have our breaker box completely redone. Our box was overheating so we had an electrician come out and look at it on a Saturday and disconnect what would over heat it leaving us without water. Had an appointment set up for Tuesday to start the process and get an appraisal. Work was to be performed Thursday. We called CUB to have our electric disconnected the next morning so the electricians could perform the work. My phone conversation was a very rude and disrespectful one at the least, we were told they could come out that evening( no time frame) or Tuesday at some point. I called on a Wednesday so it would have been almost a week later. We had them come that evening. The work was performed and completed on the next day. When we called to have the power reconnect we were advised that it needed to be inspected. It was late in the evening and could not be done. I am a 100% disabled Vet due to multiple strokes and need power and running water... I had explained this to CUB and was told that was not their problem. We had the inspection done the next day and called CUB back to have the power restored and was it could be done Monday because there were a lot of power outages. I explained to CUB that we have been out of power for a week and my medical conditions again, I was then again told it was not their problem and then they hung up on me. I was not informed of any inspection nor did my electricians know they needed one the day of completion. They have always had a 7 day grace period to have the inspection done. I do not understand how they could have someone come disconnect me on Tuesday but they could have someone re connect me the day before a disconnect. Customer service/ service overall is very bad and should not be treated this way as a paying customer. I never raised my voice or became disrespectful to them.

Most of the people that you talk to at CUB are very, very rude. they need to take a class or have some training on how to talk to people. If you cannot do what they need you to do not have to talking down to them. I work for many many years. and I do understand how people can get rude back, but the women there especially are very rude. I did call today and concerned about my bill being late . You all cannot help me of course I did not think so but the lady that I talk to she said she was new she was the first time ever that I actually talk to somebody was very nice.. but the other ladies need a class seriously or training maybe from her who knows thank you for your time
