    I was on a work trip to Chattanooga, TN from Nashville, TN on 2/26/2025. My car started to overheat so I pulled over on the side of the road, called AAA and got towed to a local mechanic. He stated, he could not work on my car since it is European but referred me to Fastech auto since he knew they handled European cars. Car got towed to Fastech shop that same day. Since they could not see my car that day, I left it and got a rental to go back home. Working with Fastech they said they would have to replace my cars water pump, replace engine coolant thermostat, replace engine oil cooler, replace heater core, perform cooling system flush, and replace radiator. I checked reviews on them and some were good, others not very good at all but since I had no other choice and needed my car fixed, I allowed them to do the work quoted to me. This all cost me $******** all said and done. I picked my car up soon after they told me work was done and car is performing good around 3/8/2025. I am making this dispute because one of the items stated would be fixed, has not been fixed. I took my car to get a routine service from my local Volkswagen dealership on 5/10/2025 and something that they found was that my engine oil cooler need to be replaced. I found that very odd because I just had that replaced 2 months prior. I have not contacted Fastech because I would just rather go through you all to get this handled. On my bill from Fastech, it shows that the part should still be under warranty. I am asking for $******* because I would rather have Volkswagen fix this for me and Fastech pay for the work being done since they did not fix it properly the first time. All documents attached from both Fastech and Volkswagen. Thank you for the help in advance.

    Hello, 

    We are responding to a complaint from ****** ******* about his 2013 Volkswagen Passat in regards to a leaking Oil Cooler. Before the BBB complaint was filed we had not been contacted by Mr. ******* in regards to this issue. We do offer a 3 year 36,000 mile nation wide warranty where he would be able to have this repair performed at no cost to him. Shortly after the BBB complaint was filed ****** did reach out to us and scheduled an appointment to bring the vehicle in for warranty repair however, he did not make it for his scheduled appointment on 5/27/2025. We have not been able to get in contact with him since. We are more than willing to warranty out any work here at our facility or he is also able to go to ********************************************* or call Technet at *** ******** to find a shop in his area to have this warranty performed.
