    Hello I'd like to start off my daughter ******** purchased a 2019 nissan versa from wheel city in rapid city however she failed to keep up payments on the car and made no attempts to pay the loan from auto loan acceptance so I made the decision to take over payments with the understanding that the car would be mine my daughter was ok with this she was over 30 days past due ******** authorized me on the account so I could obtain information and payments I called auto loan acceptance December 9th to let them know I would be paying on the car and to set up payment plan **** I spoke with was very helpful and this complaint has nothing to to with her she is very helpful and great customer service as stated I spoke to **** about working out a payment plan but she informed me she would need to speak to her supervisor to see what could be done the morning of December 10th I went outside and found the car missing I called auto loan acceptance immediately and found out they repossessed after speaking to them they tacked on almost 400 dollars on for repossession fees I feel I should not be responsible for this as I was in contact with auto loan acceptance prior to the car being taken I understand my daughter was behind but as I'm taking over on the car and payments will be kepted as promised I feel auto loan acceptance should wave the repossession fees and as stated before I was in contact prior to the repossession thank you

    Hello we recently got a car from wheel city an auto loan acceptance approved the loan after 3-4 months of making payments we came into a hard time losing pur house we knew we would get behind so we contacted them let them know ad tried to pay the 1 late payment and they refused to let us pay so we contacted a lawyer and he said try and to pay it again cause we can't do bankruptcy as that is pur only debt so we tried 3 more times and they have refused and said to get pur family or friends to pay for it and that if we don't have a place to live then we could afford it and before thy hung up on me they said they was coming to get the car

The vehicle was repossessed on January 9th, 2023 and sold at auction, the proceeds were applied to ** *********** account, there is a deficiency balance remaining. If ** ********* would like to clear up that balance we encourage her to call ALAC at *************** Thank you.

    We didn't know from the initial complaint that ****** was referring to an account under someone else's name. ****** ******** purchased a vehicle from ***** **** **** on August 2nd, 2022 and it was financed with Auto Loan Acceptance Corp (ALAC). ALAC has not received any payments from *** ******** since June 3rd, 2023, and have not been able to get in contact with her since July 5th, 2023. ALAC never refused payments from *** ********, rather requested documentation showing a short paycheck or other reason she was unable to pay. We encourage *** ******** to contact ALAC as soon as possible at 800-584-9292 to make arrangements to bring her account current. Thank you.

    We explained to them everything that was going on and we have sent multiple paychecks to them worked at the same place same paystubs and we explained that we lost pur house they said since we don't have to pay rent then we have the funds so I explained I am waiting for money to come back from places we have applied for so ****** transferred her to ****** so we explained it to ****** and everything and she said no we are coming to get the car and this after the 3rd time of us trying to pay for the car we tried to pay in full they didn't want it

    I hit a deer with my ***** on October 30,2022. I signed the car over to my insurance the first week of November. I had purchased GAP insurance also. The GAP insurance states that it pays all insurance does not including my deductible( up to $****). My deductible was $****. I have paperwork stating this. Now they have been harassing everyday wanting $****. I told them many times what the insurance states. I even called the GAP ins company twice to verify this. Now without authorization they took 2 deductions from my checking account totaling $***. They had my debit card on file for my monthly car payments which ended the first part of November. I want my money back ASAP! I need it for my rent. They took my money without my consent. I found out by checking on my account this morning! Please help me with this. * ** ****** ** **** ******** ** ********* They illegally took my money. Thank you! I will get a lawyer involved. Look at your gap insurance paperwork as that is what it says.

    We have been in response with the GAP company concerning Claim# ****** for Tyra, and have discovered there will be no GAP payout. Although there is a balance remaining, in the spirit of excellent customer service ALAC has made the decision to consider the account settled, with no further monies owed.
