This Mosely Funeral and Cremation Service provided funeral services for my spouse, ***** **** *****, June 18, 2023. ********** Insurance Co. policies under her birth name **** *.were given to Mr Greg Mosely toward payment. I mailed a check number 7124 for full amount of $9392.00 on April 3, 2024 because ********** had not paid due to name difference. April 30, 2024 I received a statement from ********** stating three checks totaling $7205.60 were mailed to Mosely Service as payment. May 23,2024 I talked with Mr Greg Mosely on phone and verified he had received both payments and he said he would return the excess. He has not agreed since then to do so. I have supporting documents. I can submit if necessary.

Mr Greg Mosely texted me Feb 14, 2025 in response to my latest request for the refund. He said " as far as I remember, the three death claim checks were in my name so he mailed them to me" I found that,  yes an insurance company would write the check to the contract beneficiary. On Mar 4, I talked with Joy at ********** Company. She said the checks were definitely made to Mosely Company and they have not been cashed.

    Sincerely

Upon the death of my mother on 12/10/23, we contracted with Greg Moseley (Moseley Funeral Home) to prepare her for burial in Savannah, Ga. He was paid by check (approx. $8500) which was cashed that week prior to the service. The contract included him submitting an obituary to Savannah Morning Newspaper. In support of this effort, I provided him on Wed 12/13/23 the written obituary, and my sister provided a 10 x 12 framed portrait as the image to use. The obituary never was published. In January 2024, I called Greg asking to receive the portrait back. Despite receiving a few text replies of “I’ll call you soon”, I never received any further communication from Greg. Over the course of 4 months, I continued to ask Greg, via text, and voice mail, how do we get our portrait returned. I have since learned that he also ghosted the Savannah Monument Company, and has not paid them nearly $1000 for their services provided at my mother’s 12/17/2023 funeral in Savannah, Ga. I want our mother’s portrait returned.
