Since enrolling there hasnt been any teaching or a teacher to instruct how to become a successful barber. No one on one teaching. No visual aids I walk into school sign in and Im forced to learn on my own. Were given a textbook and a workbook to complete. Once we finish a chapter we take a test and move onto the next chapter students are expected to understand and safely perform chemical services, which no ones has preformed or discussed with open dialogue from a teacher. we have no reviews. Theres no order in our school. The owner and president of our school takes his own clients during school hours, he doesnt offer the student a chance to shadow him. Im absolutely scared I will not be prepared for my state exam. Theres dissension in the ranks on draping for shaving services, which is the only service that anyone speaks on because its mandatory to complete for the state board. Ive been charged over 20k+ to teach myself. Our school hours vary to work around staff. Many times they have closed the school early at a moments notice no text or email, Ive shown up multiple times to learn the school would not be opening through hearsay. The owner has conducted other business during school hours such as leasing rental apartments. In enrolling I was to pay out of pocket $125 for my application, then told I would be reimbursed and that hasnt happened. I was also told I could not receive any reimbursements from my loans to survive while schooling until my tuition is paid in full. I asked for the literature in their handbook stating that and they can not find it to better inform me. Im completely lost in all aspects to how this is an accredited school in ************. Had I not already had my cosmetology license I would have assumed this is normal practice. But none of this is. Im being robbed of my education and my money. Our schools attendance is very low, many graduates come back after failing there state board testing due to lack learning the curriculum.Business Response

2. Visual Aid This is provided in the classroom and on the floor. Visual aid is to help the student and to advance their knowledge of barbering.
3. There is open dialog between students and the instructor. The floor is always open to questions and demonstrations for the student.
4. When customers come through our door some of them have a person that they are more comfortable with. We try to make the customer at ease and much as possible. So this is why this accommodation is met.
5. There is plenty of opportunity to learn within the school to advance. Knowledge is always there and we will offer any help that is needed.
6. We have set hours for our school which are posted throughout the school and on our website. We have a group chat that is also set up to inform students of any closings or delays.
7. Winter Affordable Realty which is our rental company. It is run by ********************* (property manager) and *************************** (assistant property manager). This is run separately from World A Cuts Barber Institute.
8. Those who are interested in attending World A Cuts Barber Institute must complete an application for admission. On this application it is stated that there is a $25.00 non-refundable application fee.Also it states that there is a $100.00 n0n-refundable registration fee.
9.As for the tuition amount it is different from a regular student and a transfer student. This difference can be seen on the aid offer that is presented to the student. We also have a tuition ledger that we present to the student that details this to. All these document are presented to the student so we have full transparency.Mission Statement

The World of Cuts Barber institute just created this so called group chat, which they have yet to inform the students of, before this was created I commuted 45 minutes to school where I was turned away! in fact I was present last week when they passed a piece of paper around and asked for our full names and phone numbers, shouldnt this information be in our individual files already? Open dialogue is far from the truth many students outside of myself do not feel prepared to become barbers in this industry. I myself have a few hours left and no knowledge of how to do all the services adequately. We have a former student who graduated from World of Cuts Barber institute who has a teachers license now, who only comes in to cover ONLY 1 chapter which is the straight razor, which is the only thing state boards test you hands on. That ****** varies in time and is quite redundant. Chapters 5-12 and ***** arent talked about in any dialogue. I have witnesses in the student body who will justify my claims. Winter Affordable Realty which is company. It is run by ********************* (property manager) and *************************** (assistant property manager). That in fact is true and its also ran inside the barber institute, during school hours, the financial aid office doubles as the president of Winter Affordable Reality? The front desk secretary of the institute doubles as *************************** (assistant property manager) office? During school hours potential tenants have come in and conducted business, Ive seen the financial aid ********************* leave from her job and desk and exit the building to give possible tenants a tour of their apartment rentals. Once again I stress that no learning is happening. Instructor *************************** has the a sign thats states ALL SERVICES ARE DONE BY STUDENTS! I am rejecting this response because: its not accurate and its far from the truth in regards to what a learning institution is. Im prepared to file a suit, I would rather deal with this internally and given a refund rather than proceed with this. Thiis isnt fair that all they have to do is give me a textbook and workbook to read and fill out and deemed a barber in training when nothing is being discussed in detail or even reviewed. The attendance rates have dropped substantially. Students dont believe in there methods. This isnt a learning institution, I suggest you interview new and old students whove enrolled and inquire about the learning environment. I need a refund immediately!!!

We here at World A Cuts Barber Institute strive to make students that are currently seeking to become a barber welcomed into our school. We aim to make them better individuals when they leave our institute then when they came in. Education and learning are top priority for those who walk through our doors. We are a very welcoming and understanding with each individual that we come into contact with. All are welcome!
We have set down and hand a conversation with *************** in reference to the concerns that he has brought forth. We opened the floor for him to discuss everything that he had on his mind and to try and find a resolution to the issue. It was a very detailed and thoughtful conversation that was had. Both parties took accountability for their part in what brought the concerns forward and we discussed ways to move forward. Everyone came away from the meeting with a better understanding and a greater respect for the craft.
1. The group chat that was mentioned was already in place for us to reach out to the students. Ms. **** periodically updates the system to make sure we have the correct contact information. This is what was witnessed by ****************.
2. **************** mentioned that he is not fully knowledgably on all the aspects of barbering. The floor is always open to those who need more one-on-one with the instructor. Our instructor is here Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 AM -1:30PM for class instruction. This time will change starting August 12, 2024. The new schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 AM 11:00 AM class instruction. This change will allow for more time for students who need one-on-one outside of the classroom hours.
3. Winter Affordable Realty, LLC is a separate entity from World A Cuts Barber Institute. Both business strive to make the community and people better as a whole. Both business give people the opportunity to make themselves better by also making others better.
4. In business the customer is always right. So if the customer asks for particular individual to provide services to them we try to accommodate them. We are just trying to provide a better environment for all.
