      Had a brand new car undercoated at ziebart Took it back yearly for check up Two years ago advised them there was bubbling on the paint Next year took it back and they continue to say it plastic Took it to a body shop and they said the fenders needed replaced.. when they took them off they were completely rusted Causing me to have to replace both front fenders costing me $3200 out of pocket for fenders and paint When I called Ziebart they said they couldnt get to the area to rust proof but the body shop said they couldve reached and nothing shouldve prevented them from rustproofing those fenders I would like them to acknowledge they messed up this job and it was not done properly the first time. They missed or skipped rustproofing these fenders.Ive had other cars rustproofed at ziebart and never had a problem like ******* like them to acknowledge the warranty, if youre not going to back up the warranty why have it.

      To whom it may concern: 


      In response to ******************* recent complaint and request for a refund, we would like to clarify the  situation and our position. 
      Ziebarts rust protection services are backed by a warranty that covers only the areas of the vehicle we  are able to properly treat. Mr. ****** contacted us regarding rust that had developed on his vehicle. Upon  inspection, it was determined that the affected area as question had two issues, the first is foam  insulation which prevents our material from getting to the metal, the second is the plastic cladding which causes the paint to delaminate due to abrasion, which in turn causes surface rust. Both of those items  are clearly stated in the warranty as not being covered. As outlined in the terms of our warranty, areas that are inaccessible due to foam, caulk, or other manufacturer-installed materials are not covered, as  we are unable to treat them effectively. Surface rust also is not covered under the warranty.  
      That said, we value our customers and strive to offer solutions whenever possible. We offered to apply treatment to the repaired area at no additional cost, should the foam be removed and the area made accessible. 
      Given that our product has been on the vehicle since ************************************ an area we were  unable to treat, we do not believe a refund is warranted. However, our offer to respray the affected area  at no charge remains available, and we would be happy to assist should Mr. ****** choose to proceed.
