    Additional Information :

Hello, I am  responding to the complaint that I have filed. On 1-31-2025 I took my 2017 Ford  Escape to ************************************************************************************* Transmissions after speaking to them about my car possibly having transmission issues. my car was towed to this location due to it not being drivable. When Aamco looked at my car I received a phone call telling me how much it would cost to rebuild my transmission and how long it would take for this work to be done on my vehicle. I gave permission over the phone to proceed with making the repairs that needed done. I Received a phone call on February ****** informing me that my vehicle was finished and ready to be picked up at 6pm. I went to pick my car up at 10:30 am on Monday February *******, while picking my car up i was informed that everything was good that my transmission would last me for another ******* miles. I paid  $2346.00 in cash and had financed $2,200 for a total of $4546 to have a rebuilt transmission. After paying for the service the owner took my car outside, locked up the shop and left before I could fully check out my car. After turning my car on I noticed my check engine light was one which I was told that i needed to have my o2 sensor replaced in the downstream which is why my check engine light was mind you this light was not on previously to being serviced by this facility. I proceeded to go to work after picking up my car. The car seemed to be driving ok. I left work around  3pm. I drive 49 miles to and from work everyday. I had made it halfway home and my transmission fault service now light came on. I pulled off of the highway and called ammco where I was told oh i don't know why that would happen how is the car driving? I told them that the car seemed to be driving fine but I was not comfortable driving the car. He assured me that I should be fine so I continued to proceed home. I did drive my vehicle to work the following day with no issues however on February ******* on my way to work my transmission fault service now light came on and as I pulled off of the highway into a sunoco on Chestnut st in ********** pa my car would not move any further. I broke down yet again. I called ammco where I received no answer. I had to pay for an **** to work then I called the Aamco Transmissions Headquarters. After Speaking to them about the issues i was having they reached out to the shop where he then called me in a hostel tone asking me when did i call him. I told him I had called him at 8:30am. He then asked me what was going on with the car and where the car was at. i explained everything to him he then asked me if i could get my key to him and he would have the car towed to his shop my coworker drove my key over to him, I did not hear from him so i called him to make sure that my car had been picked up he said yes i then asked him how long was i looking at for the car to be fixed he told me monday. Monday came. I did not hear from him so I called in the afternoon to check on the progress of my car. He told me he was sick and felt like death and he was the only one at the shop working on my car. I then proceeded to tell him that if he was sick i did not want him working on my car because it was very important that my car gets fixed properly this time and if he needed to take some extra time to fix it then to please do so because i did not want to be broken down again. I received a phone call on Tuesday stating that my car was fixed and that it was ready to pick up. My car was picked up by my husband on Wednesday February!9th 2025  where he did not receive any paperwork for the repairs or diagnosis of what was wrong with the car. He was told that the car needed an oil change and the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. i took my car to another shop where i had those two things done and it was picked up on friday February ******* the car seemed to drive fine for the first 60 miles however after that i started to notice that after coming to a stop and then accelerating the car would jerk a little bit. Fast Forward to  February 24th 2025 at approximately 3:45 pm on my way home from work again had the transmission fault please service now light come back on i pulled off to the side of the road to another gas station where my car is still hopefully at i called Aamco he told me to drive my car that was having issues with the transmission to his shop i told him i didn't feel comfortable i then called Aamco **************** and tried to reach someone there where i did not get a answer. Today on Feb. 25th,2025 i Called Aamco corporate again where I spoke to someone named *******. I explained the issues I was dealing with and was told she was going to get back to me after contacting the shop I have still yet to hear from anyone. my next step is to contact an attorney i am on the verge of losing my car home job and have already spent thousands of dollars on the car not being fixed properly the first or second time i have missed work have had extra stress added to my life after paying someone for a service that was not done correctly i personally feel like i was robbed by this place and something needs done  thank you for your time i look forward to hearing from you

I had my 2014 ****** Sienna AWD van towed to AAMCo in **********, ** in January to rebuild my transmission. The cost was $6300. I paid that in full. After a month or so I picked up the vehicle and it had front end body damage. I drove the van 50 miles and the transmission went out again. I had it towed back (they wouldnt cover the cost to tow it back). They had the van for some time and when I tried to call? Id get a message saying the phone line is disconnected. I contacted corporate. They got involved. They had it towed to another AAMCO in **. I tried finding it and I couldnt. I found out from a lady I was dealing with, ********, from corporate that it was at a body shop getting an estimate. Fast forward. They gave me my money back plus the money from the body shop estimate. They were supposed to have my van towed back. ************************* from claims said hed have it towed back, but he never did. I keep sending him emails, reaching out through ******** and calling ******** from corporate and nobody is getting back to me. This is August 5, 2024 and I still dont know where my van is. Theyve had it since January. This has been an absolute nightmare. Its starting to seem like they either dont know where it is or it has more damage. Maybe its stolen. I have no idea. My van is still worth a good bit of money. This is so ridiculous.
