    In August, I met with Dan and put down a deposit on treatment. That evening, I decided not to proceed with any treatment and texted and emailed to cancel. I then called the next day. After jumping through hoops to get my money back, ( receiving another document by certified mail that I then had to sign and return by certified mail), it is now October and my refund still hasn’t been processed. I have called and talked to his receptionist multiple times who apparently can not process my refund although she’s the one who processed my payment!? She tells me she’ll let Dan know, or that he’s out of town, etc.
    After I wrote an unhappy Google review, I finally got a call from Dan who proceeded to threaten me with a lawsuit if I didn’t take down my review.
    Apparently, part of the paperwork I signed was that I couldn’t publicly say anything about his business. Can this even be legal?
    Anyway, he was to send me another paper to sign to get my refund back along with a copy of the papers I already signed.
    In about a week on a Friday, I received the paper to sign, but no copies of the papers I had already signed.
    On Monday, I got a call from Dan to essentially tell me that his “partners” (although he and his wife are the only ones listed under the business info. on the BBB), already talked to a lawyer and that they were going to sue me if I didn’t take down the review. He even said I needed to drive to his office the next day between 9:30 and 12:30 to deliver the signed paper and then I’d get my refund and copies of the signed papers. When I said I couldn’t get there the next day, he then restated that if I didn’t take down my review I would be served court papers.
    After reading several other complaints that have been made about this man, this has become more than just about getting my money back. I believe this business is set up specifically to take peoples’ money and make sure they have no recourse when they are unsatisfied with the service.
