    On 5/25/2024, I purchased 200 bags of Pea ***********************. This is how the product was advertised when purchasing the product. We ended up getting 107/200 bags of pea gravel. Once we got home, we set all the bags out on the, soon-to-be, patio. The bags were full of moisture and looked as if they were brown (as advertised). We then emptied the contents of all of the bags and realized as the pea gravel was drying, the product was actually orange and not brown at all. We then reached out to the company (OldCastle). They stated that they would not do anything to assist us as the bags say color variation on them. As a consumer, I dont understand how they advertise it listed as Pea *********************** and also have one labeled as Pea Gravel-Multi Color. We ordered brown and now have a large area full of bright orange looking pea gravel. When asking the business for assistance, we were told there was nothing they would do for it. I feel this to be false advertising to the consumer.

    In regards to this complaint, I contacted ****************** on June 19, 2024.

     

    He was not happy with the color of the Kolorscape Pea Gravel he purchased at Lowes.  I explained to him that our bagged stone is a natural product and the colors can vary depending on the region.

     

    I offered him a refund check of $200.00, which was mailed to him on July 17, 2024.

     

    This should help him find a stone color he liked better.  This way he can go to the store and purchase the color he liked better.

     

    He was happy with this resolution.
