    Organizing Options has agreed to design and build custom cabinets for our basement remodel.They came out to do initial measurements in early Spring 2025, then June 7th for second measurements, then June 21st for "Final Measurements" with the owner telling us that the final design would within 'days of July 2nd and we only received those plans August 11, 2025 - despite our constant texting and emailing multiple people on the team inquiring about the promised proposal design. When we finally received a proposal design, we addressed it immediately and ask for updates on ordering of material. To this day (end of August 2025) it is STILL unclear if the materials have been ordered - with the owner saying one thing and then his operations manager often having to clarify that it is not exactly as the owner has said. We have asked multiple times for an install date without having one available. This complicates our project since our contractor and various furniture pieces we have ordered depend on having an idea of when we can expect their part of the project to be done. We have had to push back delivery of furniture multiple times because of them.Also - we NEVER had someone on their team reach out to us to find out how we wanted the inside of the cabinets to look. When I asked, the response was "The cabinets all come with shelves in them. They are typically adjustable shelves with the middle one fixed in for structural stability. If you want something different inside the cabinets we can certainly set up a call for some discussions. The quicker we make that detail of course that helps while it shouldn't affect the construction of the main cabinets we do want to make sure we are doing everything at once." Aside from never having had a discussion of what the insides look like, why would a company not want to ask their customer if their standard design is aligned with what they truly want?Our project has been delayed at least 9 weeks due to their lack of organization.
