      I contacted Michelle on 2/11/25 to make a Communion dress for my 9yr old daughter. Which was scheduled for 4/19/25. We scheduled a meeting in her office for 2/24/25. On 2/25/25 she provided a quote for the dress and the deposit amount of $250.00. On 2/28/25 I sent her the required deposit amount via Venmo. Once received she scheduled a fitting appointment for 3/13/25. The day before the fitting she cancelled due to the fabric not arriving. I texted her multiple times over the next 2 weeks with no response. My husband went to her studio on 4/1/25 to talk to her and was told there was a death in the family and that is why she did not respond. She told him everything was good with the dress and that she would be contacting me that night. I did not hear from her and havent since. I sent one last text on 4/17/25 demanding my deposit back since I did not have the dress I paid her for. I got a response on 4/18/25 letting me know that I would have my money back by the weekend but still have not received it. Based on some of the reviews I have read recently this is an ongoing trend of hers. She takes the deposit but does not do the work and past clients have not received their money back. I just want my deposit back and hopefully filling a complaint will deter her from doing this to anyone else.
