    03-07-24 I took my 2018 f-150 with ****** miles on it . So figured let them do an oil change and might need brakes. So got a call said I needed rear brakes which I didnt ask how much but also just wasnt told how much . I thought ok a couple hundred dollars. Said I needed new rotors which I was like they didnt feel bad plus only driven it ***** miles in a year and they did my inspection last year. Which I did get an oil change that was 137 I ate it because I knew I didnt need anything and wanted to give them alittle work. Anyhow when I got there couldnt show me old rotors but I dont think were mine. Well lay me say with inspection, emission , oil change . Rear brake pads and rotors. $905 dollars .Which for a working man is almost his rent for a month. Very unacceptable and not sure if this will come of anything. This is my first time doing this and Im 52 so took me a lot to be ****** off . I know the owner owns a few bars and guess he has to meet his monthly expenses who knows. 270 for 2 rotors when they cost about 100 for 2 and brake pads at 85 which are only like 20 dollars. For the price it was I should of gotten front brakes also.

    The customer dropped off vehicle after hours, I provided a copy of the drop off slip, he stated inspection, oil change and possible brake pads. When the vehicle inspection was complete the recommendation was made to replace pads and rotors due to left brake pad was at 3b and right pad was at 4b and the rotors surface compromised.  Customer was called and left voice mail.  Customer called back and everything was explained and that the mechanic recommended the brakes and rotors and he stated to do it while it was here he was also given the cost.  He asked if we resurfaced rotors I explained no one provides that service any more.  He also stated he knew there was a problem with the brakes  because he doesn't drive the vehicle enough.  When job was complete customer was called to inform him job was complete he stated he would be in later to pick up.  When he came in to pick up the vehicle he asked to see the brake pads and rotors I went to the shop and had the mechanic bring them into the customer, he looked at them and told mechanic he could get rid of them.  He paid his bill and left.  I provided all receipts from the last 3 years inspections and oil change records, his drop off envelope and repair order recommendations and inspection specs.
