    Sunsational ****************** removed an interlock ignition device from my vehicle. I was told the the man who was to do the removal that there was a hold on my account. He gave me a phone number and told me to call it regarding the issue...so I did. As I was on the phone he came into the waiting area and asked for my debit card, I gave it to him. He said he'd be back. A short time later he returned with my receipt and I left. It wasn't until about 9 pm that I looked at it...it showed $212.00 for the iid removal!! I was shocked and angry because I was prepared to pay only a total of $89.00.And then tried calling the business to leave a message on their voicemail and the owners greeting said to email him if a quick responsexwas needed, so I did. I also left a voicemail for ****** called me the next morning. He could not explain the 200 dollar charge, got short and dismissive calling me "lady" and saying I had to speak to the employee directly to find out why I was charged so much money. I asked the cost of labor per hour, he said, "******.THE SERVICE ONLY TOOK ABOUT ***** MINUTES TO ********** I should have been charged only $30-60.

    Thank you for allowing my response to the complaint filed with the BBB.    I have partnered with a Government approved Vendor, Smart Start as a service to the public.   Individuals, whom received a DUI and are required by ******** to have an interlock devise installed in their vehicle, come to my place of business as a service station to install, remove or calibrate their interlock devise.  The individual is required to pay fees/fines to PENN DOT,  pay SMART START as the lender of equipment/service (VENDOR) and SUNSATIONAL (SERVICE STATION).  Each vehicle might vary SLIGHTLY regarding the INSTALLATION service charge of the devise.  Most installations cost $250.00 + tax (depends on skill set necessary for that particular vehicle.

    ALL REMOVALS cost $ 200.00+tax=$212.00.   NOT ONE OF THE INTERLOCK REMOVALS WAS CHARGED $89.00, nor was she ever given a price of $89.00.  When monthly calibrations/violations are performed, I charge $30.00 + tax regardless of the vehicle.  I am authorized to charge a fair and competitive rate.  The individual does not have to install, remove or calibrate at our location.  There are other locations.
