    I hired **** to install my propane stove. He installed it as natural gas. I have a flame shooting up to my range hood. He told me its new run it for a few days.He was supposed to put in a switch for my lights. I told him i have the parts just needs installed. He bought the wrong switch and installed. Now i cant use my outside lights because theres no switch.

    I hired Alex Hoang Handyman LLC to do a drywall project of my loft above my garage. It was a constant battle to get him to even come out and do any work after paying the initial deposit. He originally quoted me 4-5 days to complete the project but after 2 weeks of off and on work he still had barely hung 75% of the drywall. What he did hang looked absolutely terrible in multiple sections and odd angles. On the last day that he showed up to do work he said he would be back the next day for a full day and complete the project but needed the final payment. I foolishly gave him the final payment and then he stopped showing up or responding to my contact attempts. I have now had to hire a different company to **** all of his work and finish the project which they did in 3 days. I still have not gotten any response back from **** about refunding my money.

    I made an inquiry on the NEXTDOOR.com app to find a handy man or contractor for work I needed in my home. I was contacted via phone by a gentleman by the name of ***************** and scheduled an appointment several days later. After an on the spot verbal estimate I accepted; **** ******************** began replacing electrical outlets throughout my home. He was joined by *******************, whom he introduced as someone who worked with him. After replacing the electrical outlets; they accepted work on a backyard shed, recess lighting and updating in the main bathroom and powder room. I went out of town March 9 and entrusted the care of my home to a family friend. Although Mr. ******************** and ************ accepted the work on the bathroom, only *** **** showed up once March 12, removed the vanity, initiated laying the vinyl flooring. He left after a few hours and left the bathroom in shambles. Mr. ******************** sent a request March 14 via Cash App for $450 and sent a text that the bathroom would be completed by the end of the day. Mr. ********************, the business owner, requested $450 down to cover the cost of materials. Apparently, when I attempted to decline the $450 request and rather pay half or $225 instead; Mr. ******************** received a total of $675. My financial institution contacted me the morning of March 15 to verify these transactions. I indicated Mr. ******************** was to receive $225 only. I immediately contacted Mr. ******************** via text to inform him of this error. He responded via text that he would return the money by the end of the day. On the contrary, he has not returned the $675, did shoddy work on the bathrooms and did not complete the work as agreed upon. I sent a request via **** app several times to recoup the money and he declined the requests. I am requesting the $450 for material plus the $675 paid accidentally for a total of $1125.00.

    I connected with Alex on *********.com. He said he would do some drywall finishing in a basement I was finishing for $420. We agreed that I'd pay him after I primed and everything looked good. He contacted me via text on Wed. 1/25 and asked when I was going to pay him. I told him I couldn't pay him until he finished as there was still areas that needed finished, so he said he would come to finish that evening. When I came to work on Thursday morning the basement door was unlocked [Alex was the only person with a key] and there was $500 worth of my Customers materials that were missing... However, he did not finish the drywall. Now when I call or text he will not respond. I have done some checking and found out his real name is ******, the picture he has on his ********* profile is not him, the address he has on ********* is not his address and he also seems to be unlicensed & uninsured....
