I scheduled a full vehicle inspection, expecting a comprehensive diagnostic. They identified issues with the rotors and brake pads but failed to address the noise I initially reported. Throughout the two-week period they had my car, I had to repeatedly call for updates. Just before my trip, they informed me of another $1500 repair on top of the $2800 quoted for non-urgent work. The office manager and lead technician were unprofessional and dismissive, failing to perform a thorough inspection and gaslighting me when I questioned their work. They held my vehicle hostage, demanding immediate payment and showing no empathy for the inconvenience.

During my trip, the part they repaired leaked oil, forcing me to spend over $100 on motor oil and seek help from a nearby repair shop. Jason, the owner of Foreign Fix, was unhelpful and refused to reimburse me for my additional expenses. Despite my efforts to address the situation, he continued to gaslight me, and I was left with significant costs and stress. This ordeal has caused immense distress, and I am considering legal action. I regret not waiting for an appointment with BMW, as I believe I would have received better service.

Date car was dropped June 19th. I am seeking compensation for the additional money I had to spend because improper instillation of the oil filter housing which could have caused my engine to lock up in 2015 BMW. Picked vehicle up on July 2, 2024.

I spent money on Uber rides, several motor oil, car rental and train fare to return to Virginia to pick my car up after Brad repaired the issue. A refund would be ideal since the technician failed to perform a complete vehicle inspection and tried to deceive me for more money.

Unfortunately I am unable it upload all of my receipts but I will have them upon request

    I received your
letter dated July 22, 2024 regarding ********* *******.  I have reviewed the complaint and discussed
the issues with our service manager and technician who performed the work.  We diagnosed her BMW and made recommendation need
to operate safely and pass a PA safety inspection.  Once those issues were addressed an
additional front end part was found that needed to be replaced to fix the vehicle
in its entirety.  Ms. ******* chose not
to have that part replaced.  Allegedly during
a road trip, she experienced an oil leak.
She told us she added oil without properly checking the levels and kept driving
it and pulling over to add oil when the oil light came on the dash for hundreds
of miles after she knew a problem occurred.
She finally ended up at a repair shop near Washington DC at that time
she contacted us and explained what happened.  We immediately called that shop to determine
what happened.   He said a part that was
recently installed appears to be defective.
We authorized him to replace that part and put the proper level of oil in
the car.  We also covered that cost as a courtesy
to Ms. *******.  We advised Ms. ******* to
bring the vehicle back to have us review their work and offered a discount on
the additional service she needs to have the BMW operate properly.  She has since not returned.  We did everything according to what we told
her we would do initially with the work she authorized.  I have sent over a copy of the invoice that
we paid for her.   We stand behind all
the work we did and all the recommendations we gave Ms. ******* on her 2016 BMW.

    Sincerely,

    Foreign Fix

I was told some work was being done on my car 2011 Range over sport. The car still wasn’t fix but I was forced to pay over 1000 dollars for my car to be return. I recently took the same vehicle to another shop and they told me there was no work done to the vehicle. So the auto shop has committed fraud.

I have reviewed the issued complaint and discussed the issues with our service manager. We
installed the parts and performed the labor that we charged Mr. ********* with. I have sent over a copy
of the invoice that he was given that shows the parts he paid for and the parts the warranty company
sent us to install and the labor time to complete the work. We communicated with him during this
entire process about how much work his vehicle needs to operate properly and how little the warranty
company is going to cover and that he would be responsible to pay for the needed work that needs
completed to get his vehicle in proper working condition. He decided not to do all the work that was
recommended. Therefore, his vehicle did not leave with the proper repairs because he did not want to
pay for them, and his warranty company declined additional needed repairs. We stand behind all the
work we did and all the recommendations we gave Mr. ********* on his 2011 Land Rover.

    Sincerely,
    Jason P*****
