    My husband and I recently purchased the home located at ******************, Palmyra PA *******. Our closing date was 10/27/2023. We contacted Weidle Sanitation (company listed as providing trash removal by the previous owners) on 10/25/23 to create an account/start trash and recycling services with Weidle. Pickup day is Monday, recycling is picked up every other week with the first pickup being 10/30/2023. The company promised to drop off our recycling and trash can at the house by 10/27/2023. When we arrived to the house after closing, only the trash can was at the house, they did not provide a recycling can so we missed the first recycling pickup. We called Weidle on 10/30/23, they said they would drop off a recycling can for us (which was done the next day). Although they have picked up our trash every week, they did not pick up our recycling on the next pickup day which was 11/13/2023. We called and let them know the trash was picked up but not the recycling. Weidle told us the driver noted there was no recycling, we assured them it was put out at the same time as the trash which was picked up. Weidle said someone would pick up the recycling the next day, and the recycling was picked up on 11/14/23. Two weeks later, the trash was picked up on 11/27/23; however, the recycling was not picked up. We called on 11/27/23 and let them know this happened again, Weidle said someone would pick it up 11/27/23 or 11/28/23. We called again on 11/28/23 as they did not pick up the recycling. Weidle said they came out to pick it up but there was no recycling out. We assured them this was not true. Again, our recycling was put out at the end of the driveway with the trash on Sunday night, and the trash was removed by Weidle. Weidle is charging us for a promised service that they are only intermittently providing when we complain that they are not providing the service. How can we get them to pick up our recyhcling that is part of the contract without having to complain every two weeks to get them to do it?

    I HAVE ADDRESSED THIS COMPLAINT WITH OUR GENERAL MANAGER AND OPERATIONS MANAGER TO ADDRESS WITH THE DRIVER ON HER ROUTE TO GET IT RESOLVED. I HAVE ALSO GIVEN HER A $74.64 CREDIT ON HER 1ST QUARTER INVOICE FOR 2024. I SENT AN EMAIL DIRECTLY TO CUSTOMER TO ADVISE HER OF THIS AND GIVE HER MY CONTACT INFORMATION SHOULD SHE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
