    Billed for a job fair that I did not register for.

    ***** ****** Career Fair Connection This is a very false and misleading statement by ******** *******. This event was over 10 months ago in 2024. There were no complaints about this event from any clients including this one until this complaint a year later. We have sworn statements from our other employers who attended this event including *** and ****** who have attested to the number of attendees who attended (in positive reviews written on our social media at the time of the event), We have no control over the employers who decided to hire from the resume file (that had over 360 attendee resumes) or the employers who decided to move their registrations to future events, that is their choice. There were 8 employers present on this date, which is not uncommon as some recruiters hire directly from the resume file. That is their choice. The event was held on the day and time as agreed, there were job seekers and employers present, legally this is services as agreed. If Mrs. ******* is unhappy with her own experience, she can freely voice those concerns, however, you can't make up facts to defame a company and their name. We have contacted the Stage 3 **************** with a copy of this false complaint made by their employee and will also provide a copy clients' statements, event photos and attendee rosters to ask for written proof of these claims or an immediate apology and removal up to a charge of defamation of character being filed. We will wait for their response. Career Fair Connections host over 40 events every month. We have been doing so for over 15 years; we feature multiple repeat local and Fortune 500 companies from the private and public sector at our events every month. I am confident if this is the consistent experience at our events, we would have more than 2 BBB complaints in 15 years. This is an unprofessional attempt at public slander. We will work with the BBB and Stage 3 **************** to provide proof of these claims or remove this complaint due to false defamation of character. Thank you.

    This was one of the worse career events I have ever participated in. There were a total of 5 employers in a tiny hotel conference room with about 12 attendees who also thought the event was poorly run. I reached out to the Account Manager who told me the locations had been switched due to an overwhelming amount of participants. I find that hard to believe and think they bait and switched us to take our money, knowing it was going to be a terrible turnout. I followed up and asked for a refund as we were oversold and received a very unprofessional reply from the Account Rep. I would NOT recommend this event to any employer or potential employee. TERRIBLE, worse event and I have been to many career fairs.

    I am happy there is still a live events company after COVID, still putting companies in front of us. I met with Restoration Builders in the ****** event. Started work the next week. Thank you.

    They blame platforms for s******* up their own dates about career fairs and then give you a BS excuse on the phone. Be wary, they change their stuff last minute.
