    Hired chris o******** in May 2023 to tear out a railroad tie wall and replace with a timber wall. It was 2 courses high with 6 x 6 x 12' lumber 55 foot long. It was on the ground. He arrivered with 2 helpers on May 2. He left 1 to start to tear out the wall. He did not leave any tools for his employee to work with. I gave him a crow bar to help pull the wall apart. He came back and they proceeded to tear the wall out. It was raining and I asked how long they will work. Told it would be untill wall was done. Chris left and went to Harbor Freight to get a drill and extension cord. Then to lowes and home depot for timber and other items to complete the job. They where here for about 7 hours . Worked in the rain until about 6 pm. I asked again when they would quit for the day. Again they said when the wall was finished. They finished around 6 pm. Looked OK at first. Then I noticed that 2/3 of the wall was straight. The last third I noticed it started to drop down. Very noticeable when you look at it. Chris was called several times about the wall. He came up twice and said that part will have to be removed and dirt put down to level the ground. I agreed that the wall needed to be raised. Also the wall is only 2 courses high and he put 1 6x6x12' timber on the ground and on top of that one he put the second course. Did not stagger the courses. Then he put a cap on the second course. I noticed that the joints where not tight up against each other. Also there is a wood shim halfway of the wall because of a gap between the 2 timbers. Have not been able to get hold of Chris O********. Will not return calls. I want the wall fixed or $1000.00 back. If chris will not fix his mistake on the wall I will have to hire someone else to correct his uneven wall.
