    This business picked my car up on August 15, 2024. They quoted me for the cost of repairs to replace my engine. $2400 for a used engine and $1200 for labor. I paid them for the engine, but not labor at that time. After going back and forth with them, not responding to my calls, and having to show up to the garage, a month had gone by. On September 14, 2024. My car was ready to be picked up. I asked them to provide me warranty information for the engine that they put in and he refused to give it to me. The car was making weird sounds, and after driving it only a few miles down the road, it died. I got a diagnostic at the dealership and they stated that the garage took parts off of my old engine (likely being used to rebuild the replacement, despite me paying for a ready and used engine) and put the wrong oil in my car, causing engine failure again. The licensing on the wall of CarStar is expired, and the men who were fixing my car were drinking alcohol while doing it. The business has not tried to resolve the issue, and has threatened to keep my car in the event that I bring it back to them. I would like a full refund, warranty information on the used engine, and another engine that I can take to another place to be installed. The photos that I have will not upload to the dropbox, but I can share them via email.
