  Date of transaction 6/19/25 I hired a local landscaping company Next Level Landscaping to quote me for a new fence installation. I was quoted 800 by the contractor. This quote included demolition of the old fence, materials, and installation of the new fence. He came back the next day to collect a deposit of $500 and take down the current fence. He stated other people would be back to complete the job. It was assumed that materials would be bought with the deposit given to him. We had a remaining balance of $300 to give at the time of the new installment. However now he is stating he does not have workers to complete the job and I have to find somebody else to do it. He is claiming I have paid $500 for him to remove the old fence which took him under an hour to do. He now is stating he has subcontractors who were deported and he doesnt know how to do the job himself. I have not received any materials. All I have is no fence now. I tried to come up with a resolution with him to refund me money or outsource new workers who will complete the job for $300 but he is saying it is not his problem and threatening me through text messages to watch what you ask for and that this says more about you than the company. side note i did actually accidentally pay him the full $800 for the job because i forgot to remove the other $300 from my money envelope. I told the man on the phone when i realized and he claimed i didnt give him the full amount. Since this was my mistake I told him its okay and I was willing to pay another $300 to finish the job. Now im out of $800 and he is refusing to give me his owners contact information. His name is ******* but he is not the owner. Ive only had contact with *******.

  As you can see in the customers attached images she got EXACTLY what she paid for . The contract states the fence will be removed for a total or 500$ . She paid 500$ ,signed the contract and got the fenced removed in that same day just as the contract shows and just as she admitted & stated in the complaint . You can also see in her attached photos that before we did any work for her we had 5 star ratings on ****** and angies list totaling 30 5 star reviews and NOT 1 single  negative complaint EVER . We even have a 100% stand by rating on angst list ,meaning  they 100% recommend us to their customers. Once the job was done the customer called us and tried to scam us stating that since we did such a good job  and removed the fence in 1 day they believe that we accomplished what they paid for so fast that they should get their money back . They then started that if we did not give them half the money back they would we would need to install a new fence are free . They stated that Yes the job was done right and fast but it was done to fast . AGIN there was no issue with the job that was done it was done correctly . We told them they cant threaten us then 12 hrs later they posted 31 1 star reviews to our ****** page , made 61 comments on our social media accounts and contact and left fake 1 start views own our anguish list account. All these fake reviews were made by the same ip address coming from their house with fake accounts . 
  
  we had our lawyers and police involved and they said this woman has done the same exact things to 5 other local business . "She gets work done , gets what she paid for , then makes up an excuse to try and get her money back ,not because the work was done wrong but because she dosnt want to pay and then when the business tell her no she is a scammer she tries to tarnish their reputations just as she is doing to you". 
  
  We have been in business for 10 years , have done acquired over 60 5 star reviews across all platforms and 1 4 star review . This complaint speaks for it self . It says more about the customer character than our business . She submitted images to your that only made her look bad and not use showing the contract , that she agreed and signed it , that we are a 5 star rating bunnies , that we are backed 100% by angst list and home advisor , that we did exactly what we said we would do . This customer is a fraud and wants to not pay for anything in life .

  Next Level Landscaping has been around for a decade and never had any issue besides with this 1 customer . She is currently being sued for demefation , tarnishing reputation , slandering , False Statement,Compensatory damages,Punitive damages.
