    I used Harlan 10 years (2014-2024), during which time she did 3 jobs for me, totaling $16,000. The 1st 2 jobs, I was satisfied & the owner (*******) treated me well. On the final job (Mar 2024), she suddenly treated me rudely, hung up on me in mid-sentence, doctored invoice paperwork to remove all references to pruning work that was part of the job, & demanded payment before the job was finished & there was a big pile of logs in my front yard. They did remove the logs & the big guy threatened me for payment so I gave him a check but not the full amount since she abandoned me before it was completed (no pruning as shown on original Estimate). I will never use Harlan again & now have another contractor to complete the pruning work. I don't understand why she suddenly treated me so badly after all these years... ??? I always paid her promptly, it was not an issue of money, she just walked off the job & rudely cut me off. Some kind of nut case?

    When asked for permission for Harlan's crew to access my neighbors property through my yard, I gave them permission based on my experience with the company and their great reputation. When I recognized that my lawn was compressed by the bobcat equipment that they used to remove sections of trees from my neighbor's yard, I called the office repeatedly that summer. When my calls were answered, I was promised that the owner would visit the property. When my calls went to voicemail, they weren't returned. The ruts in my lawn remain. Each time I mow my lawn and bump over those ruts and see the erosion that has occurred, my anger returns.
